Development isn't always the best. I moved to a very rural small town in Nevada, USA about 20 years ago and development has taken much of it's pleasantness. Change is going to happen, but respect for the authenticity of the area is so important.

The dirt road, is mysterious, good, special for millions of travelers

@@tommedjugorje Within those fields Tom, one finds Jesus and/or Mary walking with pilgrims on the red dirt roads, perhaps roads similar to what Jesus walked when teaching His Apostles.
Please, since you are local, speak with home owners, asking if they could petition, are they in favor or against the roads becoming paved. Ask them to consider the vary roads untouched for more than 40 years, two generations, the very roads the seers found themselves running from the communist, during their persecution in 1981.
My first trip to Medjugorje was in July 1991 (hot), walking the dirt roads, the same roads of today which are unlike any other road in the world. My last trip was in 2018 where the roads remained the same. Bijakovici is almost the same as day one. My hope is Bijakovici remain intact and not developed, or changed. Obviously Medjugorje development is required in order to embrace the many many pilgrims and rightfully so because it nears St James.

Tom we where there last week me and the brother when we passed one of the visionarys house the daddy and i think it was the mother not to sure about was it the mother we ask them could we take there foto and they said yes they even let me into the garden to take there foto they were so lovely and waving to us and laughing it was one of the great highlights of our pilgrimage they where a beautiful couple god bless them and may our blessed mother always be buy your side Tom god bless ya.i wish i could have a another helping of there raspberry cheese cake from cafe chiaras it was delicious

Please let them keep it the way it has been for years that walk to apparition hill is part of the build up to the hill.
