Here we have it ladies and gentlemen, the longest flight in American Airlines' route network and my longest flight ever! Nearly 17 hours in a tight economy class seat was not much fun to endure, but yet here I have summed up the entire experience in this 21 minute video! Hope you enjoy. American Airlines unfortunately have suspended service to Hong Kong from both LAX and DFW. No word on them resuming services due to the ongoing pandemic but I hope they'll resume this flight soon!

Ouch! I don’t think I could have done that seat for 16 hours. You’re a brave man! And I agree, it’s really annoying when airlines force you to watch ads before a movie.
Haha yeah it wasn't fun to endure it for that long, but to be honest the flight went by really fast!

I’m flying AA for the very first time in July from LHR-HNL via LAX and the LHR-LAX leg is on a 777-300ER, so it was great to see what I will experience on my trip
Wow! Awesome to see that many Europeans come all the way to visit our beautiful Hawaii :) I'm sure you'll have a great flight and you'll love HNL! Was born and lived there for a little bit before moving to the US mainland.

Like it and if you are wondering the business class seats are basically the same as a Cathay pacific version of the plane except for the seat colors AA Grey texture CX version Green. Dallas to Hong Kong is basically the same duration as a New York to Hong Kong flight

A 9/10 score for this flight? This was a very mediocre longhaul experience, that “second meal” fruit platter is a joke for such a long flight. Of all ULH carriers, AA is close to the bottom unfortunately. They should take a look at their big rival Delta, who are leading the pack for ULH US carriers!

Thanks man, apologies for the late reply. Yes I agree I was being a little nice on AA haha. I was sort of disappointed with the food options I will admit. Would love to fly DL longhaul one day since they look much better.

it's not just chocolate cake, but any cake with fruits, i hate it! I like blueberries, strawberries by itself but don't put it on my cheescake, choc cake etc! it's like pineapples on pizza, ewww
Funny how everyone on your flight had the windows down, when I flew AA125 in October 50% of the windows were opened throughout. Wonderul video mate!!
Wow...can't believe I just now saw this comment mate apologies for that haha. Honestly Texas never seems to get so cold, it's always hot there seemingly! Completely agreed with you on the cake thing, no fruit belongs in it!

Interesting video, I did a domestic flight accross the Gulf from DFW to MIA on their 777-200. I feel that their 777 economy class seats indeed feel pretty narrow but what I hated the most was how short the seat back height is. I flown over 150 times and that flight was the only one where I had to really had to keep my head upright since the headrest wont go up that much.
As for the food, that vegetarian fruit platter seems pretty basic, but I do feel they can offer something a bit more substantial for vegetarian passengers on that flight.

Sadly AA doesn't offer any halal meals, so ofc I had to resort to any veg choice they had. It was definitely a slight let down.

when I heard the intense buzz of the engine I just shut my eyes and feel the roar and my mom said why you close your eyes I told my mom I wanted to hear it with my eyes closed

Wow This Was A Long Flight! The longest flight i've been on was from Paris to Chicago which is just under 9 hours.
I'm really disappointed that flying in coach, especially on a flight as long as yours is not fun anymore with horrible seat pitch and width. It's all about squeezing every dollar they can to the detriment of a good customer experience. Oh by the way, I spotted the DC-8 just south of AA maintenance hangar 4 (DHL and international cargo area).
Agreed, I flew in the aisle seat on the way back (report coming soon) and man was it an ORDEAL! Good on you for spotting the DC-8!

Ive sepnt 19 hours on an Amtrak train in a coach seat. I think I would be able to handle 16 hours lol
How do you afford to fly so often
Most of my trips are family trips, so my parents pitch in for most of the cost. Anytime that I fly alone, I pay for the cost of the ticket myself.
AS Aviation oh. I fly a lot too, but not as often as you. I be flown 40 times in my 14 years of life
