Love the videos you create. I am surprised at just how many layers of crepe paper is used on each wire stem. I guess it it to build up the thickness to proper scale. I have found that green “floral tape” is not permanent and eventually hardens, stains, and drops off over time. So I don’t use that stuff - ever. Unless it’s buried underneath layers of yarn, fabrics, etc.
I like to use crepe paper because it's much cheaper than floral tape when a lot is needed. I also wrap in yarn, but there are times when floral tape is needed, at least for me. You really can choose whatever method you prefer, that's the beauty of craft 🙏💕
