4WD outback Australia adventure travel - Glass House Mountains

A Day at Glass House Mountain's tracks.
Fairly easy drive through pine forests. Leveled roads but can be slippery in the wet there is 1 mud hole that can be avoided and a couple of creek crossings which may need walking before attempting. Remember always have recovery gear and try to travel at least in pairs and tread lightly.

Been there, done that :( The trick is to always check the water before you enter. Funny thing is I only dipped the front wheels in the water ( creek was up and running) and the front of the truck dropped from the bank been washed away. What an effort to get home, The old man wasn't impressed when he got the call to drive out and come and get us. Bent conrod and over two grand later a snorkel would have saved all my troubles....

Just letting you know a snorkel is not for breathing like a snorkel we use, yes i will help a little but not a lot. its to help filter clean air in dusty or sandy situations
