- I had a great finish but I wasn’t able to pull of the victory. I learned some valuable lessons that will serve me well the rest of the season. Congrats to Brian Latimer on the victory! Scott, when you can get a Top 10 without finding the Juice spot you are doing a bunch of amazing things right. Being able to succeed and thrive until you do find that one magic spot and time that gives you a shot at the win to go along with all of the good fish you are finding by following your instincts. The real key to Bob's machine shop is it makes that evinrude elevate to just the right height for someone with exceptional balance to use as a casting deck for sight fishing.

they smell just like the old stores on the lake where i live in tennessee that carried fishing supplies. when i would walk in those stores and smelled, i knew my mom and i would soon be fishing. when i smelled them ,memories came flooding back to me from when i was a kid and going fishing with my mom

Grand is fishing extremely tough but its starting to warm up. Dont be afraid to spend some time in practice up the rivers
J Crow tough is an understatement. My brother fished a high school tournament there and out of 30 boats only 2 fish where weighed in.

Scott Martin I take that back I just got corrected by him it was 35 boats and only 1 fish. The tournament got cut short at 6 hours but that is still brutal.
Miss Seminole. Dad lived and guided on that lake. Seminole and Eufaula are my two favorite lakes.

I live and fish on lake seminole, you did a great job for never fishing that lake before, it is a very difficult lake to fish at times. I’d love for you to come back to lake seminole with any of the googan squad and fishing the florida sides, enjoyed watching you weigh in, in bainbridge too!
I won’t be the only commenter to say something like this, but: my two cents are 1) everybody fishes to win, but that instinctive, experienced approach is what has you 2nd in pts; and, 2) these 20/20s are a great way to ‘watch film’ and look for blatant mistakes, but don’t get too critical. We all know you know what you’re doing, Scott, and thats one of the main reasons we’re watching along with your heritage, personality, and great production techniques. Just keep doing what you’re doing!

Scott, watch these two videos and you will learn a bunch about Grand Lake. I'm an Okie and so I know a little about that lake. KVD won his 40th on that lake last year and his video will give you some insight into what kind of areas he found productive. Also, Swindel didn't make the cut and hated the lake. Why , He couldn't figure out how to handle the way the rock lays in the bottom of that lake. He snagged way too much, and as a matter of fact, I think he is still over there, trying to get a crank bait loose. Two videos with a lot of hidden food for thought. Good luck.

Slowrolling spinnerbaits worked real well when I fished the TBF Nationals in 2013 on Grand . Mark Daniels won that tournament throwing an A rig I think it was called a crazy eight or something. Your gonna do great Scott I’m sure . You have any old Mann’s classic spinnerbaits tucked away? The guy from Alabama almost won it on that bait. Good luck Scott!

Jus got off the water fishing well I was bank fishing an caught a bass pound an a quarter large mouth thought I was on my way next cast got snagged an lost my only spinnerworm. So perfect time to have this video up because I need some more tips.
