So glad to see the modded series start up! Couple of pointers after 10 hours using the Scavenger mod: 1) Notice the 1 gun you found came pre-upgraded? Keep that in mind when deciding which guns to use/keep/sell 2) You may have seen, but only 17min in at this moment, the cost of repairs and upgrades has skyrockets so pick and choose when you wanna do anything and be absolutely sure you want to use that gun. That gun may look nice but there may be a better one in the next crate saving the 4-10k in repairs 3) There are rare weapon variants, 6 total guns got rare variants so make sure you check the description of every gun you grab to see if you got a rare version.
As a stalker who already searches every nook and cranny despite knowing the loot tables of the basegame, and who prefers manual repairs and maintenance over the repair shop... and who finds an old rusty AK in the field, takes one look at AK upgrades and goes "NYET, RIFLE IS FINE!" ...this mod looks right up my alley.
I think what would be cool is if there was a bit more audio pop when an enemy gets hit, like hearing some shattering noise when the bullet connects might make it feel a lot cooler when you take an enemy out. There's a few games give you audio cues to signal successful hits and it makes it more fun
@@aFriendlyPest I thought in the recent updates there is a noise. When I shot at someone at a distance and kill it, I get a hiss type noise. Hit's on an armored foe sound like ricochets. Could be my imagination though. 😛
Just finished a loot only run with the base game, had a crazy stash of AKs and pistols, shame I had around 8 M4 mags but couldn't loot any 😩 finished with a trusty AK and M9 Around 38:00 you missed the silver crate on the second floor 😹
I always walk around the back pack and put ammo in the back with the label sticking out. Saves room and you can see each box! Also remember you can put your face IN your full backpack and see through everything to find something.
No worries 😁 I'll see about changing the titles on this series to make it easier to follow. If that isn't practical I will do a better job on my next series
That PP-91 can use that suppressor ya found in the stash too, if I'm not mistaken! Cheaper ammo, big mag, should be a real nice weapon especially in the early game-- and with +P ammo I'm sure it can handle anything in the game if you wanted it to. I'd love a mod that adds the ability to hold another weapon on the other side of the backpack! It always looked like it should be able to, and I'd like if they added backpack upgrades in the real game (another weapon slot, and more storage mainly).
There is a mod to be able to put only folded, or if you choose, any weapon in the bag. This allows you to put weapons on the other side. I also like the bag extension mod and you can use the bottom too since it has those straps
I downloaded the mod, but also have the C8A3 colouration mod so maybe it's broken. Came here to see what to expect of non-pistol weapons looting because so far I haven't found any.
I've not left the first zone with this mod yet, but so far I've found a double barrel shotgun and an smg in addition to several pistols. My understanding is that the more dangerous zones have better loot 👍

@@aFriendlyPest I’m having a blast hunting the stash notes. Since it dropped on the quest store I’m playing it super slow to hopefully prolong the game. So far the adventure to find the AUG then get home safely was one of my favorites. I’m glad you’re enjoying these mods cuz we always like to see you in the radius.

Oh, so the economy is kinda balanced then.

👀 It does indeed sound made specifically for you
In next Friday's episode I even found a special weapon. They sometimes have upgrades and even "Names"

I agree that audio is a huge part of the experience 👍

@@mynameisspike4086 I will need to pay more attention, but I feel like I hear the bullets strike target. Especially at a distance.

That first box is always the same. It’s an orientation box. It MIGHT have a stim in it sometimes.

why take the loot ideams if the shop is locked?

Scavenger Mod is pretty great. Nice way to add replay value.
How did you add mods I thought we weren’t able to add them on quest 2?
I'm playing the Steam PCVR version with my Quest 2 🙏
I would choose these same mods. This should be a good one.
I am very optimistic about how it will play differently 👍

Is there an option to turn on full body or do you have to have pc?
I use a PC. I have become accustomed to not using the body. I might switch it back on in the future though 👍
I can’t find these on nexus mod?
That's where I got mine. You found Radius on there but not these mods? Check your filter and see all or popular over a wider duration 👍
Im over here now lol
🤣 I made so many of these videos
