I think you should not have made all these points, you have condemned the practice already, pin is a product we all use at home, you calling pin fetish means you don't know it,pin is not fetish. Using pin is not fetish. It's like you saying using palm kennel oil brought from the village is fetish..you can as well use paracetamol on a baby why use original palm kennel oil from the village..I believe you should research very well before you conclude
I always wonder the reason for this practice and I'm really interested to know more about it tho. But i feel it's a 'superstitious' practice intended to prevent miscarriages/still birth. I guess it works/worked for some people.
