  • After being suprised about the build quality and performance of my Minolta MC 50mm 1.4, I decided to buy a Minolta 28mm 2.5 wide angle lens, which better suits my type of photography. I was not disappointed in the results of the images I was able to achieve! In my opinion it is an undervalued excellent lens for just USD 50,00. I also talk about the lens "sweet spot" or perfect aperture at which the lens provides the best results. I visited the NDSM warf in Amsterdam for a second time with a roll of Kodak TMAX 100.

This seems like a great 28mm. It's also one of the very few Minolta lenses to use thoriated glass, so it's very mildly radioactive (not enough to be in any way dangerous though) which is awesome!

    quite interesting video !
    have a rokkor md 28 f3.5 lens
using it on x700 or x500
do you think, this 28 f2.5 ist much more better ?
is it worth to buy it ?

An interesting question. Eventhough the 28mm 2.5 is an older lens, it was and still is a higher category lens. (build quality and sharpness) Present day prices justify buying the lens, I think you will not be disappointed!

Ilford Ilfosol III do you recommend it, your T-Max images look quite good.
