I remember my dads mother bringing 2 films about the railroad back for me back in 2003 when i was 3 years old. Once i sat down to watch them I never moved and they made the interest i had in trains into the obsession it is today and after waiting 13 years I got to ride the railroad back in 2016
I saw videos of British locomotives with double tenders. But since I went to see the video about the GE-ALCO diesel locomotive, I did not expect that this American locomotive with a double tender would appear at the beginning of the video. What's more, I think it's the first time I've seen on TH-cam (I may be wrong, I'll warn you), an American locomotive with a double tender.
Just to name a few the Southern Pacific 4449 has had one since the 80's, MILW 261 has one, N&W 611 has one, the UP steam program has 2 of them, and there many others. We have a lots of them all over.
