I just found a mac 110 thats been sitting in my barn for 30 years....thought it be a good completlent to by big saw, wanted to see her in action, see if it be worth my time to get it running again.
Debating on picking one of these up as I'm a vintage saw guy. Really was wondering what's faster between the mini macs or homelite xls I have like 10 homelite xls/xl2s
hey’re heavy for their size compared to today’s saws. Power wise they also lack many would say. Longest bar I’ve ran on one of these is a 16” which It’ll pull that all day. They’re a temperamental saw to say the least, but if you have a sharp chain that’s what makes the difference no matter the age or color she is👍
@@vitaliipolansky5490 a ms200 was and is probably the best top handle saw ever made for tree climbers. That's my opinion, so take that for what it's worth; but I've ran both and the ms200 is the superior saw in all areas. Makes me sad to admit that; with how much I like the little macs. The ms200 defiantly isn't the cheapest saw, and they're not as easy to come by anymore.
@@jimhurricane5831 It's sad that it's not better than Stihl, but you know what is? The big one! 125 Super Pro! Oh Yeah! That saw cuts! =) It's better than Stihls 090 😃
I believe the biggest bar I've ran is a 16". Seemed to me like these 110's could handle a little more, but I've never tried myself. Depends on what gauge chain you're running as well as cutter profile will make a difference. 18" might be too big for a good balance of the saw but that's all I got! Hope this helps!
@@vitaliipolansky5490 I have a McCulloch 130 and I like it. With the right care they are great running and cutting saws. It's definitely not my go to saw, but if I have a job that i feel like i want to use it on I bust it out!
Excellent Video, and Great To Hear Good Ol' Tennessee Ernie Ford !
Thank you.
Wow you make this look like child's play, absolutely insanely amazing
This was a pleasure to watch. Great job, nice song!
Thank you!
Great video, love the choice of tune lol

I find myself bringing out my Mini Mac 35 over my MS201 more than I should. Even though the Stihl is 2lbs. lighter and still under warranty.
How long is the pull string? Got one of these at a garage sale but there is no pull string. About how long is the string? Thanks
Don’t know for sure but probably around 18 inches would be a close.
I'm thinking of buying a McCulloch Mac 120 from eBay as a project and use it for work
That mac looked great up there... how do you get on with it ? Do they have much go in them ?

Even though the Stump is 54 inches he should of used the Mac 110 Chainsaw on the 71 Foot Sequoia tree and not the Husquevarna
He should have just used the Mac 110 chainsaw on the whole Tree including the Stump
Did you try it yourself? lol
He should put more oil and Gas so it will Smoke Alot up there
Losen the carb lo screw 1/4 turn
He should of used the McCullough mini Mac 110 saw on the big Logs and the stump too not the Husquevana
And put 36 inch bar on it... lol Cmon. That's not serious! 🤣
