    Hivemapper PROS and CONS after 4 months of mapping in the UK
    PROS:
    - Constant development and user friendly upgrades in software, fixing bugs, making whole experience even more user friendly
    - Change of camera ratio so you would not see the hood of the car while you driving,
    - pre-view of your setting on your phone to make sure you capture right view
    - General good idea that should be attractive for businesses to buy fresh street view maps
    CONS:
    - Not suitable to buy when you expect to drive to earn, only if you drive regardless and map while you drive. You need to clock a few thousand km (depending on region) to break even NOT including fuel or deprivation of your car.
    - There was change in weight of regions (this is multiplier of your earnings), mostly in capitols, downgrading profitability by 10-20 times! Place like London is worth 10-20 x less than it was before the “upgrade”. Dividing into districts was a good idea, but decreasing earning for them was not good move at all.
    - Volatile token price because Hivemapper mints earned tokens for contributors on pay day, so unless big partnerships will jump in, tokenomics is not best although I hope it will improve in time.
    In summary: for business it is great idea to have super fresh maps so it should be a good selling point and I believe in this project, for contributors who think about joining the project, they should do calculations based on 1200 HONEY per week (average earning as per video above) and not assume they can drive to earn, but earn while they drive.
    Also it would be nice to see increased weight of capitol’s district to pre-decreased level to make it more profitable to map the epicentre those business and tourist’s hotspots.

  • @mfd254
    @mfd254 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    To incentivize users they should give you 10 or 20000 Honey tokens with the purchase.

  • @volpe_sol
    @volpe_sol ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Too many flaws in the business structure. The cost of entry makes the entire tokenomics not make sense. This feels more like a startup company that will be sold to someone else, not an investment for those in crypto.

How can he even work for Solano? Sorry, but if I was a crypto company, I would not hire someone that does not invest in crypto, or believing it enough to invest in it.

      Because his unwavering dedication to the project underscores the vital connection between the project's overall success and the prosperity of its crypto.
