The Mom and Pop places as well as places the places that truly earn your business are what's it about. JL keep doing your thing! Another good video, yo.

I've been here for 15 years. I've I was on my way there, but I went to Booths Corner. Instead, it's in Pa. Maybe 15 min have a Beyers, too Klondike Kates, she serves Louisiana food and like New Castle the good foods aren't open on Sunday because they're Amish and Menonites. Thanks for visiting ❤❤❤❤
👋🏾 The next time you come to Delaware, check out Aunt Berta's Kitchen for some very tasty soul food. Try their soul rolls (dip it in the cajun sauce), fried chicken, Cajun turkey wings, candied yams, mac n cheese and collards! They're about 5 minutes up the road from the farmer's market. 🤤 At the farmers market, try the Amish bakery and Alex's Seafood.
@@JLJupiterTV Great. While you're in Delaware, check out El Salvadoreno (in Kirkwood Square - about 15 minutes from the Farmer's Market). If you like Latin cuisine, you won't be disappointed. I first ate there a year ago and am hooked on their tamal de pollo, chicken, steak, etc. Everything is full of flavor and inexpensive. It's a small restaurant with great service.
Great video...was surprised to see all the pizzas was so crunchy and when you lifted the bbq chicken slice...😮 was shocked nothing fell off 😂...have a great weekend fam ❤😊
Sloppy Joe was by FAR my favorite school lunch when I was a kid. I have very fond memories, and tempted to make one for dinner tonight. Thanks for sharing, and amazing video as always.
What a fun way to take the fam out for a meal !! My dad used to take us to something similar to a Farmers Market. There's always a chance to find something unique !! That pizza looked good too !! ❤

Can't remember the last time I had Sloppy Joe's. You make me want to get a can of Manwich 😉 Love the crunch of that pizza crust! Fried chicken looks amazing! Would be perfect with some fluffy mashed potatoes.
This is one of your funny videos. I go to the Wilmington and surrounding areas at least twice a month. Delaware has some reasonable prices. Thank you for adding the availability of seating in the various locations.
I was just telling my MIL about you get on TH-cam and here you go with a new video right in our area! As someone who was born and raised in NY, that pizza spot has always been my favorite pizza place in DE, there and Little Anthony’s in new castle too.
Awesome video, JL. My old stomping grounds when my mom was still with me. She and I would go every Saturday and have lunch at Alex's Seafood. You definitely need to visit and try more items.
Unlocked a childhood memory. We used to do sloppy joe's with cole slaw on top, pickle slices, and as many potato chips as you could fit on there and then use the chips to scoop up what fell out.
Bro I moved down New Castle when I was 9 and I'm 28 now. That farmers market was nothing but that pizza spot, fruit stands and that sloppy Joe place you just ate from filled with a bunch of Mexicans. Having moved back to philly when I was 12, my grandma continued to go to that farmers market EVERY weekend to this day!!! Crazy seeing this on a TH-cam video. Legendary spot
They definitely sell bologna sandwiches in the south. I got a smoked bologna sandwich on a road trip down south with my dad as we were passing through Arkansas. Nothing to write home about but it was an experience.
My local place! Love it there. Haven't had the Bylers BBQ yet, but I definitely wanna try it soon. I absolutely love the donut place. it's my favorite!
I used to go to the Farmers market a couple times a month, at least when I worked in New Castle! Mexican spot next to one of the entrances is on point, seafood spot is legit, the donuts in the "Amish" corner are next level and the fried chicken at the BBQ spot is the truth. Loved seeing this vid JL, brought me back. Also, you should have got the potato wedges man and the mocha donut is special man...
That’s crazy I was there in the Farmer’s Market yesterday. I made a visit to Stoltzfus for a spicy Turkey sausage with onion and peppers. You should try it next visit!!!

That crunch on the pizza my goodness! I’m from SF. Our pizza is more cheesy/ extra toppings and doughy. I like. But sometimes you want an east coast thin crunchy pizza!
New Jersey has a famous Sloppy Joe Sandwich that is totally different that typically consists of 3 slices of thin Rye Bread, Roast Beef, Turkey, Cole Slaw, Thousand Island Dressing. I also grew up with the Manwich/Sloppy Joe sandwich as a kid but it was something your Mom made at home. Not many places sell those anymore.
Aw man! You were so close! At beilers you gotta get the potato wedges with the hot bbq sauce. And at Gina's thier crunchy , airy grandma slice is perfection . Im dieing watching this we moved to Florida. Almost too far a drive 😆
I loved the review! Sloppy joes remind me of school lunches.. but I still make them from time to time add cheese and onion. There actually is a pub near me that serves them on the menu and has a few diffrent varieties😊
First off, I haven't heard a crisp crust pizza like that since I was a kid sixty years ago, plus the toppings looked great. Now I'm on to the rest of the video.
Have to drive down Route 13 to Helen’s Sausage House for fried bologna. I had sloppy Joe two days ago for the first time in decades. I made it at home…. There are two items that I enjoy at Newcastle Farmers Market, and they’re both sold at the same business…. Mexican corn on the cob. And a large fruit cup with lime juice and Tajin.
Wow I pass this place a few times a year and didn't think it looked like this inside. Thought it was a Farmers Market and this is anything but. Think I gotta pull up one day
Sloppy Joes are just classic, can't go wrong with some onion and pickles on them, and maybe a slice of cheese or shreds too. Those greens looked decent, but, I agree that the mac 'n cheese is kinda sad looking. Thanks for the great video once again JL, hope you 'n the family have a great weekend. =^.^=
I just made my kids some sloppy Joe the other day and they loved it they tore it up they came back 2-3 times I love sloppy joe 👍 and some sloppy joe fries what oh yeah

I’m from New Castle. Try Ioannoni’s, it’s a sandwich place like 5 minutes from the Farmer’s Market. I live in Philly now and swear their Roast Pork/porkette sandwich is better than DiNic’s. Also a really good pastrami sandwich
Next time you are there. Go and get the turkey legs off the rotisserie. Yum. And the corn cake sold inside a convenience store and hot pickled okra across from suitcase and bag store. Sorry don't know the names of the places
That $9.99 fried chicken is a good price. The restaurant close to me in New Jersey has a fried chicken platter. It comes with fries, onion rings, cole slaw, and salad. It cost $17.99. It might come with more sides. But I still wont pay $17.99
Baloney sandwiches all up in the South! Convienant stores/ Hood stores man. The thicker, the better! Come back to Dallas... Fair Park Grocery and Kiest Mart are my spots (with a fried egg on it). We got BBQ/SMOKED BOLONEY at the Bbq spots too. Kooley's and Gators BBQ. 😅
