Your handwriting is amazing. I love how many people have beautiful handwriting but each person's is unique and also even more unique in what pen/ ink combo they choose too.
This is some impressive writing. No lie. I think, your reviews of these pens are quite secondary to what you have provided here. You are showing what a consistent penmanship cadence looks like. Consistency in height, spacing, all of the things that make calligraphy look great as well. I know YOU could make any pen look fantastic with your writing skills. I aspire to your level of consistency.

Hello An. I don't remember if I commented on this particular video, or not. I'm using you. A letter to a pen pal is bring written, I'm in an elite writing room, with wonderful music. I look up to gather a new thought for the letter, and see that I'm not alone, there is another, sitting at a desk, and taking time with favored pens and paper. It's a peaceful place. Thank you Very much for being a huge part of the elite writing room.
You do have very nice handwriting. I would quibble with calling these pens the most sought after. I love most of the Homo Sapiens, the Bronze Age in particular, but I wouldn't give a dollar each for the 823 or the Meisterstuck. I've found neither will stand up to full time, day in and day out work. But while I love Pilot nibs to death, there isn't a Pilot pen body I want, except for the 845. Montblanc, too, maybes run of the mill pens with their overpriced cheaper models. I don't think I'm a pen snob because I collect TWSBI, and I like the Opus pens, Metropolitans, and even have four Conklin pens, but there just aren't many gold nibs pens under five hundred dollars that I think are worth it, and not many under seven hundred. Conway Stewart is one of the rare exceptions.
Hey maybe this is a silly question but, judging from the paper's movement, you apply a little more pressure right? Because I really want to use fountain pen but I'm so afraid of applying too much pressure and damage the nib, but with less pressure my handwriting is worse than with ballpoint pen. By the way you have a beautiful handwriting!
Relative to where you're sitting, are you holding the paper at an angle? I've been going a bit crazy because I've always had the paper directly in front of me when I write, with my hand being on the right, but it's always caused the problem of feeling awkward when my hand starts to touch the spirals on my notebook, and it ends up messing my writing up. I've been having trouble finding a vid or guide that shows the correct way to do it.

Just purchased my first 823, and have started my cursive practice after being inspired by your writing! Out of curiosity, what have you placed under your palm while writing?
What paper are you using? I have a Montblanc 145 and I've been using it on Rhodia but it hasn't preformed to well and I was wondering if there is a better paper for Montblanc pens. Like always though, this is a nice relaxing vid with pretty high production quality, especially for a small channel.
@@marlocieraad9461 i'm not really sure what the issue is but it's been putting down thin and inconsistent lines even though it is a medium nib. I took it to the store because I though there might be something wrong but they said it was fine and when I tested it there, it performed well. So I assume that the paper has something to do with it as I have heard from other people with Montblanc pens that Rhodia paper is too slick and hasn't worked well for them.
@@123four... something to maybe try, use a piecd of paped beneath your writing hand. Oils and such from your hand can disturb the writing of fountain pens, when transfered to the paper by your hand when you're writing. I've had those problems you were describinh with some pen and ink combos on Rhodia, and doing this solved it.

yeah, for normal writing I'd not be able to keep up the slowed speed all day...a bit of pressure is fine, but don't press so hard that it hurts :)

I find that 823 writes wettest when it is unscrewed all the way. Do you also feel so ?
yes it does, the instruction says that for long writing session it's better to leave the end cap opened all the way
