I just ordered a 08 anniversary color fairing kit from Amazon for around 500 with the tank cover. I will also be posting a review also. Great video brother. Thank you for sharing. Recent vfr owner here, also same color and staintune exhaust. Glad to know the non oem options for fairings are viable! Id like to know whether you think it's worth installing frame sliders with the options available for our bikes, and along with what other mods you might think are a good idea. (maybe in the next video?)
The parts managers at our two good local dealers have spoken very highly of Auctmarts. It would seem the result you got was a bit less than that high mark. The 6th Gen VFR I had for a couple of years needed a set but with a tank cover to deal with a sidestand tipover it had suffered (from the previous owner, of course), but I never did pull the trigger on a kit and sold it with the modest damage. I probably could have paid for the kit had I done the refurbishing. Another dealer owner, a sportbike-intensive place, is a fan of Monster Fairings, too, I might add.
