Mrs. Julie, I'm really confused by your comments about having to keep learning and working how to do the waves. I feel like you're chasing some weird perfectionist outcome. Your waves are beautiful. They've been beautiful on the last few videos. Also, as a Florida girl who lives on the coast, I can tell you beach waves and foam are not uniform. Some waves explode up to the shore, almost all foam. While 15 feet down the beach the water softly makes it way up with almost no foam at all. I think you are being too hard on yourself. Your waves already look wonderful and perfectly achieved. 💖🥰
Hi Julie, I posted a comment about a friend of mine who is the queen of doing oceans. She has taught so many classes. Her TH-cam channel is mostly live videos but of course if you type in oceans, a ton will pop up. She teaches on resins, pigments, heat, etc. She is a very helpful person. Her name is Erika and her channel is artisttilldeath she also will show you how to get the big cells and she uses titanium, but she doesn't use the huge torch, she uses the medium and shows you how to hold it and where etc. just gotta watch the right videos.
Awesome Video Julie👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I absolutely love this one! It is so pretty. You should try it with a purple as well. Maybe even the sunset I think would be very pretty. The sunrise would be very pretty too 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
Omg from start to finish it’s beautiful, when u blew it and how u blew it, it I also saw beautiful threatening and they way it looks I saw feathery trees in green winter style and mountains and mountains through out they way it blew x don’t doubt urself once finished leave few seconds or so for extra flow then this is stunning xx ❤❤
Try without n and without to see what is burning your resin ? Maybe try using the blow torch or the little torch and see which is burning ur resin xx xx
Personally I'm not much of a pink color person but the gradient of pink to white was done very well. And the 2nd wave i might of moved the base line up an inch. I'm not from Florida like some of the ladies here, but I've been there and California where the waves come rolling up the beach along with 3 other land locked states with really big lakes that also have beaches and i must say you've been doing some spectacular waves. This one, like you think needs the larger cells by the base of the waves. One more thing (again just my preference) on this piece is that the waves lapping up the beach shouldn't be spread/stretched over so much space. The longer waves, to me, remind me more of the waves further back that surfers would ride. I always love watching you trying new things with resin. Very much helps me with using ideas for projects i do.❤❤❤
Hey Julie! Love the pink, doing sunset colors sounds beautiful. I enjoy these longer video's to see all of your experimenting and practice...you're doing amazing. Big hugs from Texas!🤩😍
Julie when you were talking about not sticking your used pop-stick in the paste reminded me of something I've been meaning to tell you for awhile. 😊 You're exactly right!. Because the pastes are made by thoroughly mixing and grinding dry pigment powders with a small amount either part A or part B resin. I know one is used more than the other but I can't remember which. That's why with time and/or cold the paste can turn very thick. So if a person sticks a stick into it that is covered even slightly with fully mixed resin it will partially cure the paste and ruin it, I don't think even warming it up will help in that particular case. I wasn't going to watch this because of the pink. So silly, I know. Like another reader, I feel that we get an idea of what the waves should look like in our head, but it's not necessarily the case, but then again as with all art, what we personally are looking for can be our style, too. 😊
I like this. May I suggest tilting to the sides as well, not just off the back. Also, add in some small little additional wave details in the waves to give some dimension. Also, go start with a thinner line of resin to get your big cells at the start, then do back in and thicken up your line.
I don't think I like this wave stuff anymore. You can overdo it of course. It doesn't have to be perfect, that's the fun of creativity. Are you sure your brain hasn't been affected by the epoxy? And no, I don't think it's just an experiment, but more of an obsession. Sorry, but someone has to tell you the truth and confront you with the facts that this is not normal behavior, as I said, it an obsession. I also try to be good at what I do, but there are limits and I love the little details too, but what you're doing gives me the creeps.
I think it's just OCD, reminds me very much of my mom. ❤ Julie's studio is rather large yet immaculately tidy and organized, from various videos I've seen. PLUS for the life of me I can't figure out how she keeps her currently being used project area so very UNmessy.... no matter how clean i try to be... resin ends up everywhere. 😂
@@karliechardi2229 You could be right. I get the feeling she strives for perfection, what is impossible. And yes, I always make a mess to, no matter what I try, it doesn't stay neat and clean.

Hi there, love the pink. Suggestion: perhaps a shell or two, rocks to add some dimension
Beautiful waves❤❤
You are getting so good at the waves! Love the PINK!
Hi Julie. I love the pink. I think your waves are lovely, and I feel it more natural for the cells to be smaller and frothy near the shoreline 🩷🩷💗.

P.s., yes that means I'm pretty sure there's no oil in the paste it's actually part A or B resin.
I really enjoy watching your videos
Pretty ❤

😊
would it work to use less white, then add a little more white to your line, blow it very softly again?
Try blowing the opposite direction
❤❤❤❤
The resin needs to be thin to get big cells, or use some silicone in the resin.
Could you blow it back from the other direction?
Good video and well explained as always, but-enough waves, there isn’t anything wrong with first ones you did
Enjoy the waves, but the pink makes me think of red tide. 😂
Pepto pink
