I dont know about these English complaints really. Its nice to see the history of our insignificant corner of the world go worldwide. Frigging Star wars is in space in another galaxy where theres no English and noone complains. The story of Danes and Swedes have a valuable lesson for the world: we spent centuries fighting, hating and slaughtering eachother; no two countries have fought so many wars against eachother with so much bloodletting. Now its mainly some teasing and snickering; the only time my blood boils is football championships against our neighbours. On the other hand i do feel that theres a larger brotherhood in Scandinavia; if push comes to shove and one of us is attacked i have no doubt we wil alll line up shoulder to shoulder with eachother; all those borders and bad history erased. Its quite nice to feel that when the shit goes down we all have neighbours who are our "ride or die", that we live next door to Bros. There are too many places where you could benefit from letting bad history and old enemies be just that, in the past.
I can easily forgive the use of English language, a choice made to accomodate a more international market, it worked well in Vikings too, but those horrible costumes: absolutely no. King Christian II looks like he stepped out of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, what's up with all that see through red tulle, and his hair makes him look like a dark lord of a group of goths. It'not like they don't have plenty of portraits. And then a woman in 16th century religious Scandinavia on the brink of reformation named Freja... Right. They had one of Scandinavia's best film directors, the best actors and screenplay writers maybe that's why it disappoints.
What a shame, great idea to make this event in to a film but then they make it in English and the quality looks quite low. Meanwhile Denmark is getting The Promised Land with Mads Mikkelsen and in Danish.
This is sooooo much a missed opportunity!!!! This could have been awesome, insted they make this shit. Wrong languages, wrong music, bad writing. Only thing good is the history of what relly happened...... Hopefully they will make the next one better in about 20 years when they remake it......

I still dont like the swedes though.. They smell funny and have a weird danish accent. And what's up with the rotten fish?

😂😂😂
Jeg sad lige og tænkte det samme
Why is it in English?
When is the movie about Swedish King Charles the XII coming? Now that would make a hell of a movie, even for Hollywood.
Ye

Napoleon? Three Musketeers? Any movie involving Richard Lionheart…
Ej, ej, ej... Hvorfor er den på engelsk?!.. Skuffet...
Go woke go broke
Act like a parrot. Be thought to be one.

Then the norwegians would've yelled: "Hva i helvete?!!..." xD
Odd choice to cast actors of the correct nationalities only to have them speak English.
Guess it's to get more international interest, ie America, but maintain the accents
Makes it easier to get financial support from different countries'

The danish king acting like a catoonish villain. Soldiers flying in the air like an 80s low budget war movie. Yea, that's going to be a no from me.

No Gustav Vasa?

Irriterende..
Engelska? Usch
