- PUBG added a Counterstrike-type mode and I'm testing it out with @HandlerYT. I was pleasantly surprised how well this works in PUBG.

Played PUBG today for the first time in 3 months, 4 kills (no bot kills) and 5th place. It's like putting on a comfortable pair of old shoes
It has that specific feel no other game has. That's for sure.

Pubg Mobile has actually had a mode similar to this for a while now, I’m glad they finally brought it to the main game because it’s crazy fun
it has so many more gamemodes it's funny.
pubg could really take more inspiration from mobile honestly
Mobile team members need to switch sides with pc and console’s because mobile definitely is miles ahead interactive wise and some of the miscellaneous attributes would make the pc version so much fun for example pubg mobile from what I remember has an animation sequence when you win a chicken dinner it makes you feel accomplished pc or console is just a silent victory with a plain “chicken dinner” lol stuff like that would be so cool to introduce to pubg

@@theicekiller7574 pc has a healthy-ish playerbase of 300k players too iirc. That's quite a lot. It may seem less compared to csgo or dota but that playerbase will easily fill up the smaller gamemodes
@@Monk3y_C yeah but its really weird still. For example, atm they only have two gamemodes, TPP and FPP and you the map is randomized, yet it still sometimes takes over 3 mins to start a match in FPP
Definitely need more of this as long as you had fun lol. Will watch whatever you decide to play

CSGO with ADS is something I always wanted years ago. The simple AB attack/defense formula just works.

This mode is actually pretty sweet. Never played CSGO, but my buddies say the mode is really similar. PUBG is making a lot of great changes/updates recently. It’s always nice to get back to a game you’re familiar with.

You should move the weapon to slot 2. Since it is faster to draw the weapon when canceling the reload animation.

I would love that when you get to defuse the bomb you have a little skill game. So that when people are panicking, at full cardio rate and sweating, they might fail to defuse it, like IRL :)

Crazy that they made the AWM a chest one shot (with level two gear?) for this, definitely the best weapon.
Maybe. It honestly doesnt help that these guys were slow peeking into the damn thing. Which is never what you want to do. Nor trying to at least trade with a double peek. They will definitely need to work out a proper counter for it and it will be just fine. Very similar to how CSGO AWP works.
As a Counter Strike only player I'm intrigued to try this out.
P.S Don't suggest Valorant I've already played that for a year and it was fun at the start but now its basically 90% Overwatch.

@Aculite: I'd love to see you go back and play some PUBG BR mode now that they've added a Tactical Gear slot.. I'd love to see the combinations and usages of Tactical gear that you and the crew would come up with..
Yeah, if they could do it sooner like a year ago. Things maybe different. This has potential for PUBG to invest. If they do right, this can bring back players. There should be a penalties for people who quit the game when their team is losing. Other than that, we also need a rank system to have a balance team matching.

I think what's missing is the spicy sounds when you get a kill and an even more spicy sound for a headshot.

I wish they can make maps where cantact points are chokes like in csgo and CT can't just push them all day
entrance to A site is way too wide with additional entre points from mid
and CT have easy almost untestable control over of entirity of mid, not giving T a way to rotate between attack options in the first phase of the round,
which is never heard of in cs map design
for example the only popular map that has an extra mid to B(usaully the single entrence site for T,with CT having 2 back entrance uncontested pre breaching of any choke)
the main entrance is always a sucide rush through a narrow corridor
while side entrance required T to cross the dirrect line of fire from CT controlled area in 2 directions and that is excluding peeks from CT from B.
this is to discorage CT pushing, and allow attacking side to group up and breach one choke using flash and smoke
and only when the CT is sure where the bomb went the defenders counter attack.
right now smoke is useless and CT have easy mid control, A is wide open allowing for CT to push out and become the attacker relatively easy
it's like wild west gun duels on open streets instead of a tactical shooter
I finally played this last night..... surprisingly fun and relaxed hope they add it perma with new maps

17:20 If you drop the AWM, not sure if it also drops the ammo. And I don't think you can buy ammo individually.

This mode is made specifically Aculite & Handler lol. Combines Aculite’s PUBG greatness with Handler’s S&D greatness

i would say this is much more similar to COD's S&D rather than CS, it only has the economy of CS but gameplay and mapwise, its much more like COD

Meanwhile every time I play I end up playing 1v6 vs people with a minimum of 10k hours, whilst im only lvl 20

Its on pc for now. Consoles get the update Wednesday night or Thursday morning.
