Great episode. Thanks for the shoutout! Never knew that the MPXpress has the same engine as an SD50.... And *HOT DANG they're refurbishing the original Bombardiers!!!* Never knew they were called Sentinels.
It’s only the engine for the 3Ss and 3Cs weirdly. The MP40s on GO Transit and Sound Transit use 710s while the MP54s on GO Transit used 2 Cummins QSK60s.
If I remember correctly, 895 was recently In an accident when a Metrolink hit a plane that crash landed on the tracks. Even though the cab car of that train was the one that hit the plane, the plane got hit again by 895. 895 wasn’t damaged though, but the cab car was. I didn’t really know how to explain this correctly.
I think the retirement of these engines will all depend on if they like their F 215’s or whatever they’re called since nobody else is purchasing them besides MetroLink
1st of all that’s a crime and would get you probably a life sentence 2nd of all your inconveniencing all of the commuters and other people because you don’t like the f125. Although it’s sad to see the old locomotives go the f125s are faster and more environmentally friendly

@Sebastian Floyd Depends if Metrolink fits them with Tier 4 engines in the next couple years.

I think that would go under the Rotems with 657 taking the brunt of the impact.
@@StocktonSubber I think it was SCAX #667
@@t0nyxldr Yeah, you’re right. I just found out recently.
It was SCAX 667, it’s been fixed and repainted and now back in service!

Are you going to do an episode on the SD50
If you mean the SD60s, that info remains classified, you’ll see what I’ll do in the next episode.
If These Retired! I'm Gonna Detonate All The F-125s With TNT!
I Mean It!
