In a way I prefer to hear the calm (no pun intended) songs done like this than the action ones. A rock version of a battle theme is fairly typical, this, Aerith's Theme and Gerudo Valley are much more interesting. Keep it up!
We struggled with this for a long time ourselves, and we know it's not as smooth as it could've been. The problem on this track is that the kind of setting you need to punch through the (semi heavy) section at the end doesn't lend itself well to sliding a tune like this, which meant there was a trade off for the sound...
The opening phrases were initially on something else, and if you listen really carefully you can hear a piano backing up the final 'chorus' when it all gets heavier after the guitar slide... so yeah, a bit. It's a pain, really. Next track is much easier for us.
This sounds a lot like it was based on my remix on VGMusic. I noticed that even some of the inaccuracies were replicated. Overall, though, it sounds pretty nice.
Okay, I really like it; calm yet epic. Imagen this being jammed out after a football game...or an epic life or death battle with a genetically altered psycho with a long ass sword who was destined to destroy mankind and bring the declining world to the promised land! ^_^
I am doing a final fantasy 7 fandub. We are only about to finish episode 2 part 2 so we are not very far in it by no means. I had an idea to use a totally different take on the music. I was wondering if you would allow me to use your covers of the final fantasy 7 soundtrack. I will credit you in both the description and the credits of the episode. Get back with me with your answer. Thank you for your time, Fedoraman Stevie Langa
It's crazy how I'm only a few years older than this video and been in love with FF7 since I was 11 or so but this is the first time I've heard of it
Awesome job, dudes! This song brings back memories of many summers spent on this game! XD
Very well done, it's artists like you who inspire me to keep on moving through life with a smile on my face.
Brilliany song and composition! Loved the sound and everything. Thank you so much for posting!
