When Dave said this it all made sense. I love that he did that.

i just found out about Tony Woods hes hilarious dude and i can't belive he was Dave's mentor this is so cool. When i first saw Dave's speech i had no idea who's Tony Woods i just watched a clip of his standup and now everything makes sence this is really awesome it all comes full circle. Mad respect for Dave never forget where you come from and who was there right next to you, be good people to yourselves to everyone around you. When you wake up tomorrow make it your mission and do something good, anything. Make someone feel better just for the sake of doing one good thing that day, make someone else happy turn around and just walk away. The look on that person's face will charge you with so much positive energy you won't be able to stop i promise you.

Dave's mentor. I always said Dave sounds like someone back in the 80s...

Dave even pays Woods royalties for the fact he's bigger with his style. That's respect. As if my son learned under me how to do what i do and ppl like him more THEN he returns to pay for my living buy my house, cars, etc AND OPENLY PAYS HOMAGE LETTING EVERYONE KNOW WHO HE STUDIED TO GET HOW HE IS.

This is the person who played Dave Chappelle first. The original Dave before the Netflix specials.

Hunting using drinking straws has never been a cultural practice anywhere. Of course not. But many cultures around the world traditionally used blowguns with poison-dipped darts, including some in Africa. Maybe not in Africa. I wouldn’t know. But the joke is that Woods is also completely ignorant of Africa, its people, languages, and social issues, and he views them as foreign weirdos who are probably secretly deadly with a poison dart plastic drinking straw or something. Woods says earlier that he just likes laughing at foreign people. I wouldn’t take it personally.
