Just stumbled across this in the UK (paramedic) 👋 not sure anyone will still be looking at the comments? I think if this was an assessed scenario, it would score pretty well! Loved to see the tempo and momentum of extrication and movement towards hospital - I think that’s an area where we’re lacking over here and we quickly get sucked into doing things like IVs before moving. I was just interested to see how hot you guys are on “A-E” assessment formats? I think everything was in the assessment but I couldn’t see a lot of structure and I wondered if things might get forgotten in scenarios where you’re getting maxed out?
Laurianna Chavers that is not very nice. My son likes watching these videos. He is special needs and doesn’t know how to type words. So he types what he feels. He is not hurting anyone. Please learn to be kind. You never know what someone else deals with.
Laurianna Chavers no worries. I’m glad you understand. Thank you for that! He really loves watching the videos but I can not find a way to turn off the comments for him. Although one you tuber told me that they didn’t mind at all because it helped boost their numbers of comments. Lol Dante was commenting all the time. ♥️
As a 16 year old whos planning to go into EMS, its honestly super difficult to get to see these things. Here in Canada, there isnt much, if any opportunities to see what paramedics do in their work. In the states, you can get your EMT at 16 and do ride-alongs, not here. I'm a lifeguard but i've still tried to get exposed to paramedicine by becoming a Medical Venturer and even getting an ECG interpretation cert. Any advice for what I can do to try and get involved?
I'm in the same boat as you. Don't know 100% if I am going into EMS, but I've always been super curious about it. I love learning about things like these on TH-cam. Dunno any advice tbh. Good luck! ❤
My dream job would be a paramedic im learning at the age of 11 my dad sis has kids that r now adults one of her kids husbands r a paramedic he inspired me A LOT thats y im learning. Age:11 grade:6 gender:female thas just if u wanted to know.
Why didnt you ask the friend about Allergies, Medical conditions or medications? Would have been faster to get some Glucose into him or a glycogen pen.
The sound the suction makes 😂😂😂😂😂
The guy in the corner is such a mood😂
He looks like a neglected science project

Get your EMT first and get on at a fire station that runs medical. It will help you determine if you are cut out for this line of work.
@@paintballfanatic7231 Sorry that was my sister. She has asked over and over again for me to teach her sorry..😅
@@Insertnowiidisc no need to apologize. are you the family medic?
Blood glucose would be low < 50. HbA1C would be 6.8
How would you assume an HbA1c with only ONE BG reading and no Px documentation? let alone blood drawing?
PPE where is the PPE
Hopefully on them.
