Dude I straight up feel like I need to pay you for all these videos. This is an immense help for a guy just starting to sling stuff

@@UpsideDownWash I noticed sometime when you pick up your load, you start moving and your VSI barely indicates a positive rate. Sometimes you lift the loads amongst trees and powerlines, it seems that you move the load before it has enough vertical clearance (judging by the VSI). Is it not accurate at slower accent rates, and it kinda lags behind?

@@txtallywhacker yeah when it's very slow it's not accurate or at least not very helpful. You kind of have to feel how much your ascending and judge it case by case if your going to clear the obstacles by looking outside.

@@txtallywhacker also the vsi is probably the least helpful instrument. Judging your glide path is better to do with the altimeter by setting a start altitude to your approach and knowing what altitude you are going to end up with in a hover over your target

I'm 65h of 135h in, and half the theory done for my CPL(H) license in Sweden. Here I am learning how to sling load. All your videos is like ASMR, and a good motivational boost to me. Don't stop 😄

WOW! That was a superb video. Also many interesting views in high video quality :-)
Now I understand the problems you faced lifting my hangglider ( 25 Kg, 6 meters) up to Kjerag ;-)

Haha yes! I was actually thinking of including it in the video but I didn't have any footage of it :)

    Great video again.👍🏻
Would love to see more camera looking down views at the load. Often it's difficult you see the load in the 'load window' on the video. Keep it up!👍🏻
