Feel like I've been kind of forced into it Mark to be honest. The audio from the camera has turned totally un-usable. When I run it always sounds like I'm going through a wind tunnel until I stop and start walking again! From what's out there, this bit of kit is really versatile and so long-term, I'm happy with it. Hopefully one day I can interview someone else on the run as it comes with two transmitters!
Audio quality it top notch Phil. The mic did a great job. Shame about the loss of the footage. I love my free belt it's a great bit of kit I always recommend it to people. Glad you see you're a believer too. 😎🤘
Ah mate, it was such a perfect sun rise run with sea views, rolling hills and woodland. What a wally I felt when I looked at the footage that I hadn’t changed the settings back from only recording from one lense! Yeah I also have a camelbak belt that does have a zipped pocket but prefer the free belt!! Thanks for watching as ever mate
I’m very used to piecing around footage or audio I’ve lost 😂 I think, like the other comments, the audio was great and a nice little tester. I’ve been to Minehead a few times and even on the steam train 😀 I’ve watched Run 4 Adventure’s and The Determined Runner’s Parkclaw videos so look forward to hearing your thoughts 👍
Minehead has certainly gone up in my estimations that’s for sure. Being on the South West Coast path and seeing the quantocks rolling away when I got up to the cliff top will stay with me for awhile. Gutted that I didn’t check the camera but I won’t make that mistake again! Thanks for taking a look Rachel 🫡
Great work. I had several people comment that I had too much wind noise so I bought a special wind blocker for my Gopro 9. However, I learned the hard way it blocks the mics in the back of the camera so you need to speak very loud. I had one video in which I could not hear myself in part of the video. I feel your pain. Keep up the good work.
The mic sounds good. It must have been annoying when your footage didn't record properly. I got myself a wireless mic and at the most interesting part of the recording I forgot to check if it works, and it wasn't working. It was so frustrating. I had such cool interviews with people too. And it was all lost. Well done on your training. Endurance rules!
Ah so we both lost lots of great footage this week!! :( My run was really beautiful too but at least the new mic works very well. It records on its own so doesn't need to be connected to the camera which is so helpful! I'm sure we will both learn from our mistakes right?! Thanks for taking a look :)
Hi Phil. Mic sounds good but looks very expensive. Is it worth the extra expense? I've always found the mic built into my gopro more than adequate. But I'm a dinosaur! 🤣🤣🤣👍
Mate, the audio from my camera is just totally un usable and so found I really needed it to be honest. I comes with two transmitters, so you can interview someone while you run. They also record the audio without the need of using a receiver to the camera, and it seems very easy to sync up the video with the wav files afterwards. I'm really impressed so far! Thanks for watching! :)
You've got all the fancy kit now mate! We had a nice stay at Butlins in Minehead a few years ago.

Nice clarity in the audio! I think you made a good investment! Keep pushing Phil!
Thanks Paul. My content creation feels like its in slow motion right now so hopefully I can get things rolling again.

Thanks Richard, hopefully on my next run I should have the video dialled in too!

Live and learn as they say! I would have loved to see the sky footage though... Curious about the DJI mic. Looks fancy.
Thanks for stopping by stefan. Knowing the views I had, I just couldn't share the sky shots!!
