Team Pau were treating it as an exhibition game while Team Detlef were hustling, getting rebounds and attacking the rim.

Yeah, I agree with @@chedtulanda5957the team were passing it to wemby but he kept mishandling the ball resulting in so many TOs. And on top of that, wemby had so many opportunities to get rebounds, but he never secured them which would’ve greatly benefited the team for more possessions

He was trying. Problem is skills. Wemby ain't got none. Result: 5 turnovers, constantly boxed out on rebounds, BENCHED, and eventually gifted pity points by the other team. All in 11 minutes against G-league scrubs that likely have never played together.

Ofc bc it was a SHOW game, so especially in the beginning he let the guys do their stuff a little bit, make cool moves. As soon as he realize his team was pretty much unable to score when needed, he decide to play more seriously, and the difference was obvious. Sadly he wasn't able to 1v5 in defense
@@viridiss3793 Did you watch a different game? Did they hit the reset button and try again? Wemby was trying. He just got showed up like the NBA could/should be doing to him. Difference is that the NBA players already have a contract. These G-leaguers don't; that motivates them to actually play.
No we saw the same game dw. Now sorry maybe I misunderstand u but what I saw was just Wemby trying to kinda play with fun, trying moves for the show as he should since it was the Allstar game, same he let the other team kinda play their game, not playing to hard in defense to keep the game fun and not too risky. So they were TO and easy basket for the G league team.
And, when the score began to be seriously bad and his team was not able to score enough, that's when Wemby start to really play like full serious mode : no more fantasy moves, hard defense, well all he could do to coming back in the score.

Yes, like I said, especially in the beginning, bc he was playing risky, more careless , let things happen for the flow of the game, trying to do some stuff for the crowd, as they all should have done. But yes, risky, so sometimes things don't work.
But at least he was not afraid to try, not like most of the others. Like c'mon we can't blame young players trying to do that and say that ASG is boring when nobody try anything 'cause they are all scared to be humiliated.
And again, he still put a good performance and give us somethings to eat. Despite his 6to (I think) it was not his performance who cost the L, but some players who where unable to score enough, misses, poor defense etc.. Idk if the stats are somewhere but imo if you watched the game and being honest u don't even need them to know it, c'mon @@WembysTRexArms
