When you share a calendar with a friend. How do you give editing permission to some one?

I was using google calendar but then events come popping up that I don’t want or didn’t add -can I use this and share but prevent that from happening?

is there a easy way to have recurring tasks for household chores (like sweeping and mopping) that you want done every week and want to assign to different family members at various times?

I have just started using Google Keep for this and it’s awesome! Not inside Google calendar per se but I have morning, afternoon and bedtime routines for each of my kids.

If you have an appointment for multiple family members... Why wouldn't you just put them in the "add people" section so that it sends the invite to their calendar for that specific event??? Wouldn't that save the confusion of a separate calendar for multiple family member appointments???

Hey I have a question. Do you know of a way to set a shared calendar to request rsvp to the people on the calendar when creating a event? Other than inviting guess? Reson for that is when inviting them on the guest list it will then show up twice on the calendar.

I have created separate accounts for each family member with individual emails as you suggested in prior video and it’s very helpful. However I’m confused… do you still create separate gmail accounts for all the other calendars created such as for meal planning? Is this necessary or do you create additional calendars from your main account?

No, the additional calendars do not need their own accounts. The separate accounts are only for actual people.

When adding an attachment to a calendar event, can you retrieve the attachment when you're offline? I'm thinking if you're at the event and there is no cell service, could you still pull up the attachment?

I put my phone in airplane mode and the attachment opens up fine. Maybe just make sure to open the attachment once before you leave so it's for sure downloaded and synced.

The one thing I do not like is that I am using Google Family Calendar and I cannot share it with my work calendar. I share my personal calendar with my work calendar and none of the family events appear on the personal calendar when shared. This makes it impossible to manage my work calendar around my family calendar.

I assume your work email is Outlook? You can get the calender link from Outlook and add it to Google. I don't think you can do the other way around though, but at least you can see the calendar in the same place
