Arthur Theate, loved him in a West ham save. Can't get him early in saves as he's on loan with a future transfer but can usually pick him up after a few years at a decent price. Similar profile, left footed.
For a mid-tier club/league, Harrison Marcelin is a 6'6 beast who I've been using in my Poland build-a-nation save. He starts at Monaco, however I signed him a few years in for roughly 550k rising to 700k with bonuses from Angers in France. Has averaged a ~7.30 rating over 4 seasons.
If u guys playing WCB i suggest Trevoh Chalobah, he may not have outstanding attributes but a player with his price totally worth it. Very useful backup and most important is, he never complain abt his playing time even when i first started sign him as a regular player.
Mate: Anel Ahmedhodžić: tall, athletic CB from Bosnia who plays for Malmo. Starts out with around a 130 CA but has close to a 170 PA. He is tall (6-4) and is as good reading plays as he is in the air. At worst he develops into a Rudiger clone with slightly better overall passing and attacking skills. On top of that he was trained in England so if youre taking a Premier league team you lose nothing. He is also very adaptable and smart. Will pick up your teams language and tactics very quickly. You can get him for around 6-7 million straight up but Ive gotten him for 2.5 million upfront (with obvious benchmarks he can hit that makes his overall price to 8-9 million over time). Benoit Badiashile: he is basically the player that Zagadou would have become if he didnt have injury issues. He starts out with around a 130-140 CA and then had a PA of anywhere from 145-168. He will own the air for your team. He goes for around 11-12 million upfront but make the deal ASAP as possible as he can rapidlu see his overall valhe change to around 40+ miliopm..
Lacroix I got out of Wolfsburg first season, think I paid 30 mill. Absolute steal. Got him partnering Saliba in my arsenal save, they're an absolute wall!
Cool video. Hertha is pronounced with a T……so Herta. :-) Also a good defender is Evan Ndicka from Frankfurt, great potential and his physicals are very strong and he can play on the left as well.
You forgot Gonçalo Inácio from Sporting lisbon. Young and amazing centre back. Andrea Papetti, Moussa Niakhate, Valentin Antov and João Palhinha are very good defenders. Seba Coates is a Leader! Lot of experience and goals 💪
Palhinha is a waste at CB. I play him as BWM or CM in the centre of the field and he dominates the midfield, not to mention he smashes long shots for fun.
Best lower leagues like League One level or lower -- I've got a few I could mention. (Nathaniel Knight-Percival (Old but solid L2), Elliot Moore (don't be scared by his heading he is amazing))
Seeing Zagadou as number 1 was a big surprise! His ratings are 7.80 and above every season, minimum 7-8 goals! I have Zagadou-Ahmedhodzic at Beşiktaş. It's 2024 half season and Ahmedhodzic wants to leave :( I wish I can find a good one for CL.
In my Brentford save I've gone with a former wonderkid pairing of Kriss Ajer (already there of course) and Anel Ahmedhodzic both 6'5'' and decent pace.
Hi Clayt im debating here 😂. Some of these defenders are great but alot of them has like 14 attribute for tackling and marking, i always thought to be a top defender it should at least 15+ in both those attributes to be at top level. Would you be able to do a video on good and cheaper players for Championship and lower leagues, that would be great and what number attribute from 1-20 would be decent for each English league's. Cheers mate
Love a debate 😂 In terms of those attributes - yeah obviously the higher the better but I like to think of it as a spectrum, often they’ll have other attributes that will compensate e.g. great physicals will make up for it. In players like Zagadou’s case, he’s so big and strong that he’s really effective in the engine in spite of low attributes like his 6 aggression. My motto is usually the same, if they get a high rating, you’re winning games and you don’t see them making a load of mistakes, they’re probably really good. Yeah I think a lower-level video of this type would be a good idea.
Mine is mina and godfrey in fm 21 they won me the league in the first season. I was 1 nil down and big yerry mina popped up and scored a header. Then got injured and godfrey scored a 95 min header to win me the league
1. Sangare- PSV - 4mil with 4.5 in instalments
2. Solet- Salzburg- 8mil, 8mil instalments
3. Ahmedhodzic- Malmo- 2.5mil, 3mil instalments
4. Torunarigha - Hertha- 1.5mil, 1.5mil instalments
5. McNulty- Wolfsburg- 1.1mil, 1.1 mil instalments
Solet is sooo good, Solet + Okoh got me to a CL Final.
Ahmedhodzic is always be my must buy.

Great player
In the 2nd season you can over a loan with 19million optional fee 👌🏻

So happy to see big Zaga at number 1! Zagadou, Struijk and Solet have been absolute rocks at the back for me on my Leeds save :)
If u guys playing WCB i suggest Trevoh Chalobah, he may not have outstanding attributes but a player with his price totally worth it. Very useful backup and most important is, he never complain abt his playing time even when i first started sign him as a regular player.
My vote is for Anel Ahmedhodzic at Malmo. He is tall quick and good on the ball. I got him for pretty cheap at the start of my save.

inacio at sporting dude, hes literally sooo good. and kounde, they are my back two this year :)
Both beasts
More top 10s please. Love finding out about players I’ve never signed before.
Pau Torres did bits for me early on, and was such a versatile option when he gets a bit older
Yeah love Pau Torres
Bamboozled no Oumar Solet mention, he’s so good and cheap too. Chris Mepham also goes under the radar and can turn into a great CB
Lacroix I got out of Wolfsburg first season, think I paid 30 mill. Absolute steal. Got him partnering Saliba in my arsenal save, they're an absolute wall!
Omg my tweet was included with Wesley Fofana! Thank you for taking my suggestion and making my bad day better
💪
Nathan Collins has been brilliant, gets tired occasionally, but a very good signing. Can play any CB role.
I paid £5m.
You sold Araujo in your Barca save? My heart!
We were in -£1 billion debt tbf, I signed him in my United save of that helps 😂
Gvardiol and Zabarnyi have been incredible for me!
Andrea Papetti also a great wonderkid, but a bit short.
great stuff ..one question how do you get the info under the tactis page ..many thanks

Milenkovic scored 17 goals for me in the first season at Fiorentina. Favourite cbs are Badiashile and N’Dicka.

Hiya mate, how do you find out which is a player's preferred foot in F2022?? Thanks
My all French Back 5 at Newcastle : Theo Hernandez, Oumar Solet, Nianzou , Pavard and Maignan as keeper
I think Gvardiol, Zabarnyi, Wober and Antov would be my top four picks.
Wober as in the austrian one?
@@liam-wg1dd Yes. Left-footed centre-halves are few and far between and I have found him very good for a number of years now.
Absolutely loved Leo Greiml this FM been a standout in all of my saves so far
What’s that tactic ur using ?
A tweak of this: FOOTBALL MANAGER 2022 | INCREDIBLE OVERPOWERED FM22 TACTIC! (POST PATCH) | 523 SPANNER

I dont get zagadou at all, 6 agression, slow, very injury prone. Iv stayed away
This is inly cause i did a dortmund save and he just was rubbish and was always injured lol
He makes no sense. But he’s a god.
He is great
What is the formation you are at the start of the video? It had 3 at the back.
It was this: th-cam.com/video/BScKZomuV4M/w-d-xo.html
I am very intrigued to see your Barcelona save. Is there any way off getting the save file ?
Not the save file - but there are daily videos on Facebook for it
Zagadou, Sule and Felipe have been good for me. Also Wisdom from Bologne is great youngster
Favorite Center back is
Value for Money: Solet
Money is no Issue: Nianzou
Nice list! I got Badiashile, Zabarnyi and Zouma for West Ham. And they are brilliant in my list.
Jules Kounde is my favourite top level defender I have used
Can’t believe Salisu hasn’t got a mention
In my Brentford save I've gone with a former wonderkid pairing of Kriss Ajer (already there of course) and Anel Ahmedhodzic both 6'5'' and decent pace.
Milenkovic, just do it, 18 goals from headers in the 1st season and scares all strikers away
Solet, Inacio, Fofana, Rudiger, Salisu and the goat Kounde
Kristoffer Ajer is my goto sign center back
Zinho Vanheusden is my go to CB.
Great list, love a bit of Milenkovic
got him for free in 3rd season

@@Clayts cheers mate for that and the debate buddy 😂
I really rate Ibanez of Roma, Omar solet from RB salzburg and kurt Zouma
i have actually rlly enjoyed tyrone mings this year
Timber abd Rensch are OP
Andrea papetti and Davide betella
Ronald Araújo is the best. By far.
said we were on facebook yesterday, put meta in the title today, how much was that contract mate ;))
ps loved the list, esp with centre backs feeling more important than ever this year!!
Just working away for the extension 😂
Saliba was for me really good at Ajax
Nianzou and solet combo is OP
Zagadou is clear of every cb for sure 🔥
Thanks❤️
Mine is mina and godfrey in fm 21 they won me the league in the first season. I was 1 nil down and big yerry mina popped up and scored a header. Then got injured and godfrey scored a 95 min header to win me the league
These videos are viable for FIFA 22 career mode too 👀
Bastion the best in the game, came third in ballon’Dor voting which you hardly see
PAU Torres is also good in the air
Ginter is a unit for me
inacio is my favorite CB
Nico Schlotterbeck.
I love Zagadou but what im about to say might change your life. Moussa Niakhate > Zagadou
I’ve had both but I’m DAX for life
@@Clayts tbf I have Niakhate as my penalty taker too so maybe that is contributing to his insanely high ratings for every save haha
Yeah tbf I do really like Niakhate, I’ve just signed Zag in pretty much every save for the past two years, including in streamer showdowns ha!
@@Clayts if only Zagadou was a right footer then that would be the perfect sub £15 million Centre back pairing 😍
Bastoni deserve to no.1
Rudiger 🔥🔥🔥
Lol Zagadou is on my bench hit him on a free.
Matteo Lovato 😍
is he good?
Go get de Ligt
Goncalo inacio
Kurt Zouma
