Great to see you out on the trails again, after your AT injury, Sleeves. Wow! Great mix of reg and slow-mo videography, spectacular scenery along the Cumberland Trail, captured in stills, accompanied by wonderful commentary and music. Made me wish I was there. Thx for sharing your hike with us. In just a few hrs, four of us BMTA maintainers will be headed out from Dally Gap on the Jacks River Tr, then on to the BMT, from which we will work our way, clearing debris and trees we encounter, on our way to Double Spring Gap on the Ga/Tn border, where we will camp for the night. Then, Sun morning, we will ascend Big Frog Mtn, where we will remove the larger trees reported to be down on the trail. Your video was a good way to start the morning. Always enjoy your videos

It’s great to see another video from you and seeing you back out in the trail. I’ve been on part of that trail in Lafollette, TN. Some parts of the trail are hard to hike. It would be neat to hike the whole trail though.

Good to see you again, my friend. Looked like an awesome hike, my kind of place for sure. Awesome views, rock formations, and water features. I was just up on the north end of this trail back in April and I hiked a short distance south starting from Cumberland Gap. Being the geography nerd that I am, I was up there checking out that westernmost corner of VA where it meets KY and TN. I'm definitely looking into a longer Cumberland Trail hike for a future adventure.

Sleeves oh you know I found the point. I was solo so fortunately no one saw my gymnastic moves that allowed me to be in all three states at once. LOL

Thank you for getting me through some rough days last year. You are the best. Yes, this is a neat trail with some nice views. Laughing! I just told Chris that maybe we could start a new trend and that I know he can do it. I also told him he should see me now. This video was a few months ago. You wouldn’t recognize me now. The hair is my connection to the trail and I didn’t want to cut it until I complete it. My wife hopes I finish soon! If God’s willing, I plan to return to the AT soon and finish the adventure. I have been following you, although I have been a silent fan. The reason is that there could be a good chance we will cross paths there in PA or NJ. I didn’t want to jinx it by saying something earlier. Wish I had gotten your cell number last year. It will probably be a couple of weeks before I pick back up. Man I hope to see you guys!
