I got to say, 4 years ago I started this game and had so much hell learning the aim mechanics. Luckily I went to TH-cam and found Terry! It was a great learning experience in tier 4 battles, it’s super slow but it gives you the best opportunity to learn.
I’ve been playing World of Warships ever since 2018, and for two years I grinded almost entirely with A.I battles since I sucked at Random. But after seeing your channel, for pretty much a year at this point, I’ve gotten much better at the game and it has been much more enjoyable. I just wish i’ve seen you before my interest in warships died down, but regardless of my interests, you are still very entertaining to watch, and you’ll always be a special channel that took away hours of my life🤣 Props to you Terry!👏👏
Terry, That was cool of you to give the DD the kill. Respect to you on that. Italian line is just behind the German line for myself. It was good to play in a team with you as it’s been awhile. Bummer we lost but that’s ok. Look forward to the next video. Hope all is good with the house/family. Stu
I kinda took one off him earlier (just wanted to make sure that thing was dead). I don't really care about who gets the kill personally, but I know some people do, so I'm generally happy to leave it to them. House is slow progress, but demolition of the old building starts next month, so finally we see something beyond paperwork :)
I haven't played the Dante, but I am grinding to the Cristoforo Colombo, though am on the Francesco in the tech tree. I did play the Conte di Cavour, and I loved the ship. Dante looks like a fun ship, might play it one day. I still have the Andrea Doria, and I intend to keep it since I enjoy playing it. This tech tree of the Italian battleships is a very fun line, although if you are also a destroyer player, its something you do not want to face XD
The Italian BBs are very strong. I don't usually play at T4, unless for a grind or in a division, but the capability of SAP to (mostly) not over-pen is absolutely murderous, and is making life rather interesting for DDs, especially in those tiers, since it's the standard ammo. A similar thing happened when they changed the default load on the British BBs to HE, but this is on another level. Not a bad thing imo, since the slow WW1 BBs in lower tiers would usually be bullied into oblivion by DDs, due to the lack of coordination and screening.
@@FunandGameswithTerry Yes I certainly agree about the DD's bullying the low tier low speed BB's since they are easy prey. I love the SAP (sad about the overpen bug) since it's the best solution to kill DD's or make them think twice. I do admit that the fact that you can one shot a DD if all shells land on target is hilarious but it's something I hate when I play destroyers (especially German DD's)
Ahhh the Italians. My culture and I am very proud of it. These ships are absolute fun. Here’s something I didn’t quite get. I tried finding research on SAP shells, but got it was a made up shell. This true?
It's a little more complex than "three shell types", but SAP shells did exist. The general idea was a tradeoff - you could build an AP/C shell that had a hard, pointed tip and could make it through armour plating, but in return, had a comparatively smaller amount of explosive charge (it was also quite tricky to make these work reliably, due to the stress of shell going through plating), or you could have a lighter "HE" shell frame that didn't have those properties, but could carry more explosive. The exact details on shell variants are still on my research list, but some "in-between" semi-AP types did exist, and not just for the RM. See e.g. www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNIT_15-50_m1934.php#Additional_Pictures or en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glossary_of_British_ordnance_terms#S.A.P.
@@FunandGameswithTerry thank you…this helps a lot. All I got in terms of research was wargaming wiki….maybe they should change some play style videos as well😂
@@FunandGameswithTerry Thanks Terry, if you need video clips of her gameplay I could help. I just got her yesterday 😀 Aha btw I shared your educative video on Kremlin’s legendary module with my friend and that greatly helped him on decision making. Thanks 😊
Pretty sure he already has .. look back at previous videos. I have the line completed .. if you dont like Fantasque 8 wouldn't suggest hurrying past that because they are basically all the same from T8 to T10
That’s where you need smoke and run away Is the only way to survive Italian battleship when you’re on a DD😉😃 I use both the battleship and the DD And I know how it feels to be deleted with one salvo 😆 Thank you for the video
That's the thing they're quite useful for in T4. Most cruisers haven't learned yet what their priorities are, and try to torpedo BBs. BBs are generally slow at this tier, and don't know their ammo choices yet, so Orion and this thing, with HE & SAP preloaded, can absolutely wreck DDs who are used to BBs being easy prey.
In pc ita bbs are concidered out of meta and underperforming since released, but dont get me wrong getting over 20-30k with sap will put a smile on your face lol. For me they're strong ship in the wrong meta. These day ships just trying to be as far as possible while throwing shells and hope rng favor them
PC works differently - the absence of detailed armour mechanics means that some ships that don't work well on PC can be really good here, and vice versa (e.g. Soviet CAs)

So thoughtful of you to help educate new players. I hope they learned enough from the experience & also have the sense to look your channel. ;-)

I think there are posts out there claiming that SAP didn't exist and was invented by WG. Not quite true :)
@@FunandGameswithTerry there are posts terry…..there are indeed posts
This was fun. I 1v1 you in dutch ship in respawn. You in Andria Doria terrified me.
When can you do a video on Helena? Been wondering if I should build her for a more rapid fire build
Yay! My favorite battleship. Goodbye POS destroyers!
I love the Italian Battleships ;D
@Fun and games with Terry I send a message before and I just wanted to ask if we could make a video together on the Furutaka.
Im at tier 9 with italian BBs but my favourite so far is the tier 7
In t5 i had fun even tho its a ‚worse‘ cesare, but the rest of low-mid tiers are trash imo, at t6 i skipped right to t8
excellent seal clubber, but i still prefer orion
dispersion and shot trajectory are a bit underwhelming
It's also an excellent sealclubber-clubber :D But yeah, Orion is one hell of a fun ship, too.
Good work, Terry! Golden Lion plz 😊
I'll try to work on GL over the weekend

Italy. The only main battleship line without teir 3. Yet again, Japan has a battleship at teir 2. Mikasa is an okay ship.
