I only have 2 tips that i tell adults. 1) LEARN HOW TO READ, a lot of people dont know how to read and when they come across a card with more than 2 sentences they freak out and either quit the game because "its too hard" or they up some weird anime rule. I played a guy that used solemn warning when i set my monster... 2) Look up rulings, this goes hand and hand with LEARNING HOW TO READ. When something weird happens, look it up and find TCG rulings. Also played a guy that MST my fusion gate during a moment he called "Mid Fusion Summon" where he said that my fusion materials are banished and my fusion monster doesnt come out... The rest comes with experience.
Imagine he actual knew something useful and this wasn't just another long winded bullshit to make sam feel better about his family trying to drown him at birth

Another tip that should be mentioned. Learn to take criticism well and don't get too attached to your cards, especially if you ask for advice on how to build your deck and people say *insert favorite card here* is bad. I know its harsh, but your 3x mirror force launcher-3x mirror force combo isn't going to help you 90% of the time against the meta and some casual decks and that's ok.

so i play a trap deck and so far tip 1 is the only useful tip for my deck cant really play alot of the others not sure how to play through hand traps in a trap deck nor how to do dragon link side board stuff in a non dragon deck i wish the tips where more generic (work for any deck and explain concepts how) but ok video over all
