- The DDSS Raiders show off their more advanced stunts they do during the season. The team competes at an all girl intermediate division.
If you're new to the team - pay attention to your position and learn the basics so you're ready to give it a try at practice! - กีฬา
If you're a base, especially when doing a liberty, make sure that the grip on your flyer's foot isn't uneven so she won't fall forward or backward. Same goes for flyer; don"t point your toes when you are in a stunt.
In the twist basket toss, make sure you ride the throw to the full height and then rotate down.
Guys it doesn't matter how tall you are or how much you weigh. I'm 5'6 and 117 lbs and I'm center flyer :) My bases and backspot are all shorter than me too.
you dont have to be a certain height or weight. im a flyer, and im reallyyy petite im 5'1 and about 95 pounds. but trust, on my team there are a lot of bigger flyers that are like 5'6-5'7 and weigh like 120+ so yeah . and yeah u have to be flexible if u wanna do like basket toses, scorpians, etc, becausee balance can realllyyy make a stunt fall. so being flexible helps with balance a lot.
if the bases stand with their feet closer together during their basket tosses they will get more power
It's not really your height and weight, but if you can hold you own weight really well
That stuff is amazing I'm going to suggest some of these stunts to my cheerleading tteacher
you just have to have the skill.. im the tallkest person in my stunt group and probably heavier than some people but i can hold my own weight and that make a difference
I am probably 4'11" and 70 pounds. I would LOVE to be a flyer but sadly, I am a front spot.
your basket tosses are really cool, but my only problem was with the bases form when setting for any stunt especially the torch to a prep. try standing up straight and bending your legs, you will get a million times more power, and your back wont kill. And on the basket toss backspot should push striaght up on the butt instead of the ankles you'll get tons more height. You guys have some awesome stunts!!
If you're 5'4" you might be a base and you could possibly fly. It depends on the height and weight of other people in your stunt group, and also your strength vs. flexibility balance.
@HORESLOVER116 I'm a cheerleeader and am 115 pounds and 5'1, and I was a left base. It depends on your strength, balance, and a little on weight and height. Hope I helped at least a little. :)
Do you have to be a certain height or weight or to you just have to be flexible?? Please answer
Bases in the slow motion of the twist you didn't throw up you kinda swept her foot. Just make sure to throw straight up
Flying is so fun I was in the air and they dropped me but my back base caught me
