Lisa's story starts from Thailand (I'm Thai) and goes to Korea. Lisa encountered a tough role (entered a military training camp). When she was a dance trainee at YG, Lisa got all A's because she had a big dream. In YG, after making her famous debut, YG treated Lisa badly by discriminating against her (because Korea is a nationalist country). They didn't like foreigners. Lisa was there and was taken advantage of by her personal manager. A lot of money went But she's a thoughtful person who lets it go. She does good to everyone. Who destroyed her reputation? Lisa never responded and always let it go. Until becoming famous today, Lisa had a lot of hardships. All the accolades she's gotten (she deserves them). If you try to find a clip of her re-acting (the clip from when she was a trainee) you'll feel sorry for her. I love Lisa, she is a kind-hearted person. Very humble and down-to-earth person.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
First of all thank you for loving and supporting Lisa and BP. What happened to you with the pseudoblinks is something that has sadly happened to many of us who have Lisa as a bias. I have been blink since 2016, and I have been attacked and I have had to endure being told all the lowest words and insults you can imagine. Even those people have told me that I hate other pinks, just because Lisa is my bias. I watch a lot of reaction videos to my girls, because I love seeing new fans discovering and enjoying BP, it reminds me of my journey as blink. And I am always grateful for the love and admiration they receive, so when a reactor refers to them with love, admiration and even chooses their bias, it is beautiful to be able to see it and witness their journey as blinks.
But when Lisa is chosen as a bias, I generally see the same behavior of rejection and even hatred at the very idea of a person having Lisa as a bias. The hatred with which these people, those haters disguised as blinks, attack the Lisa biased is really painful. It's terrible the way hate towards Lisa was normalized, that people who have Lili as a bias even have to apologize, it's so unfair. Kpop should be fun, it is such a fresh and radiant style that you should be able to enjoy it freely, without toxic people who think they can determine who you should choose as your favorite member. Unfortunately this will continue to happen, in my case I have always said positive words about my pinks and I have defended them many times, but I always notice the difference when I mention Jn, Js or Rs and then the rejection and even accusations if I mention Lisa.
The constant attack on a girl like Lisa who is noble, respectful, talented and who has always shown so much love towards her fans is not fair and much less pleasant. I share every word you have said, BP are sisters, they grew up together, they defend each other and constantly support each other. None of the pinks would be proud or grateful that people who say they love them refer to their maknae Lisa like that. For Jennie, Lisa is her little sister and her safe place whenever she is afraid she turns to her and Lisa is very overprotective of Jennie. For Jisoo, Lisa is so important that she even took her with her family to spend Christmas and New Years. To this day you can see the love that Jisoo and her family have for Lisa, and how they take care of her. And for Rosé, Lisa is her soulmate. They are always together, even if they are separated for a few days, they seem to have separation stress since they spend their time hugging and telling each other how much they love each other. Maybe Lisa will be your first bias, maybe then you will choose Jn, Rs or Js; Or maybe it happens to you like me, I chose Lisa as my bias from the first moment I saw her and to this day, 7 years later, she is still my bias.
Whichever path you choose, I hope you continue to enjoy kpop and BP. Keep saying your opinion freely. The haters or blonks will continue to spew hate, it is up to us to make the difference. Thankyou for explaining it so well. Its been made a crime to love Lisa. What hurts more is that its by people who she believes are her fans and are supposed to be on her side. In the same way as you Lisa picked me I didnt choose to love her like i do. But choosing her is one of the best decision i’ve ever made in life. She is an amazing singer, dancer, actor, model. But even more her bright personality, humility and drive is so comforting and inspiring .The past months as a lisa fan have been hard but this gave me a boost. BLINKS - group fans. Unfortunately only a small percentage are true OT4 and many OT3 exist.
One of the reason is YG (their entertainment company) who treats Lisa differently to the other members because she is THAI. LILIES and BLINKS often crashed but LILIES also brought BP many awards and achievements in the past. For example LISA'S SOLO THAI VOTING TEAM gave BP 3 PCA's before BLINKS shamed them and they left.
For now only Jennie & Rose seemed to have renewed their contracts with YG, Jisoo will most likely follow too but Lisa is expected to not renew so the future of BP is uncertain.

You’re very right. The other three members would be ashamed to have fans that drag down their sister. And same goes for my fellow lilies (Lisa bias) who attack the other three (especially Jennie). It’s all coming from jealousy of Lisa (either for her looks or talent) or the fact that Lisa is undeniably born for this. And yes often she shines brighter. Nothing to be ashamed off. But that kind of hate will always come with popularity. I guess it’s the way life balances itself. You can’t be happy and loved all the time by everyone. But when normal people don’t like someone they just don’t watch. Haters watch for the sole purpose of finding something to hate on. It makes them feel better with their own shortcomings. From clothes at concerts, to the way she dances, acts, the projects she takes on, the racism, her visuals ( she was hated on because she may or may not have had plastic surgery on her nose) it’s all based on jealousy. I think she has learned to live with it.
Rose' herself actually vocally condemned the Blonks. I don't have the link but it happened. She said basically the same thing that Ross said here, but she was really much more blunt than Ross was about it. She said something like 'If you hate one of us, you hate all of us'.

Sometimes I feel like blink is the weirdest fandom cuz when I praise Lisa it's always like this:
- The happiest girl: "Lisa's vocals are underrated". Blink replied: "No, Rosé is the main vocal"
- The girls: "Lisa's rap is very addictive." Blink replied: "Jennie is the main rapper, why don't they let her do this?"
- Lisa revealed her bangs in the concert: "Lisa's so breathtaking". Blink replied: "No, Jisoo is more beautiful, she's main visual"
- When a blink account posts a edit video about Lisa, there will always comments : "always Lisa, BP has 4 members", "be fair to the others 3"
Some blinks always ask for fair treatment, but their fairness is not to praise Lisa, not to bias Lisa. Let me tell you: "There will never be equality in popularity between members of the same group, especially in Kpop. It’s impossible". I never said anything bad about the other 3 but I was attacked for being a Lisa’s stan. Is it Lisa's fault because she's the most popular in the group? When you hate Lisa due to her famous, don't call yourself blink, come out an ot3 or solo stan. Blink always says solo stans are toxic but at least they are honest with themselves, and some blinks are really hypocritical.

Since I became a fan of blackpink and started watching reaction videos, I realized that when someone said something nice about Lisa's rap or her in general, the comments section was ALWAYS full of blinks that said that blackpink is not just Lisa, and that they should focus on the other members too, or it was simply full of comments praising the other members except Lisa. And then, when a reactor praised any other member, the comments were full of blinks praising that member, and none of them mentioned the “ot4”, so I was very confused, because why it was okay when people praised the other girls but it was literally a crime if they said a positive thing about Lisa? Sadly, I realized that the people who at first said that Lisa was their favorite slowly stopped reacting to her content and focused on the other members):

Great reaction video. Yep, there exist so called "Blinks" attacking a member of BP who isn't their personal bias, and attacking reactors for biasing that member. It is so common in Kpop that there is even a name for these type of fans that seek to elevate their bias by shitting on the other members. It is a very small minority, but it is quite vocal. There is even the OT4 crowd who will attack you for saying too many positive things about any one member, who want the entire focus to be ONLY on the group as a whole. Then the real vicious fans are those that live to beef with the fandoms of other groups, again a very tiny minority but super vocal. Tiny minority of Blinks love to beef with tiny minority of Army, despite the fact that the members of BP and BTS seem to have a genuine friendship with one another and are even rumored to be dating one another. Then there are the fans that have a "couple" bias (JenLisa, JenSoo, ChaeLisa, etc., same with different BTS "couples") that beef with those that are "shipping" (as in promoting the romantic relationship) a different couple. Kpop fandoms are complicated. Best to ignore and mute the haters if they come for you, and not to respond in any public way since they live for public beefs.

But I want to make it clear that the hate train Lisa received started getting massive after her solo debut and the major contributors are armys, onces and blinks yes Blinks not Blonks!!!! There are MAJOR FANBASES and MAIN PAGES such as "BLACKPINK FRANCE" "BLACKPINK PHILLEPINES" "BLACKPINK HALL OF FAME" who are MAJOr LISA-ANTI!!! If you check their twter handle you will notices them, at first subconsciously then clearly, having posts, quotes, twts and like majority of which are not only dishonoring Lisa but also her family!
Hence the birth of LILLIES.
I, in 2019, was a lisa-biased blink and ended up becoming a Lilie during ICE-CREAM ERA where Lisa was hated by BLINKS for having the most lines and they uploaded videos to remove Lisa from the song completely or majorly!! You can still find these videos in YT.
I truly regret that onces I was part of this shitty (blinks) fandom. Currently only 5% blinks support Lisa or true OT4 while rest are OT3 or OT2( jennie rosé fans) or just Jennie fans hiding behind the blink mask and adding fire to the hate train as much as they can.

much of what I said was either my own opinion of pure conjecture on my part. I thought that was obvious. I do not know if Jennie ever stood up for Lisa. I wasn't there. Out of the choices available, I simply picked the most obvious one who would have. Each of the other members stated in individual interviews that when nobody else would talk to me,.. Jennie came up to me. Jennie was definitely letting YG know who she wanted to work with. They did not all end up in one room together by accident. But again, just my opinion from interviews they all have given,.. and conjecture on my part. As for exactly what people were yelling at Lisa, you don't have to believe anyone. You see the time stamps on them? You can go and look them up. Nobody has to make up or lie about any of it. It's all there to look thru. The threats against both Lisa and her family have been reported in other documentaries. But you can look up people talking about them too. There's no need to lie about any of it. Or believe anything anyone says. You can go look at the postings for yourself.

From before their debut it was the elephant in the room. As much as Jennie, Rose' & Jisoo can claim to be Korean, Lisa can not. She is full on Thai (little bit of Swiss too, I think). Lisa was the first non-Korean idol. So they were out to get her. BUT it wasn't only that. There is a pecking order in Asian cultures. Just like Japanese look down on Koreans. Koreans look down on Thai's. They think they are trash, garbage,..... nothing personal, just don't like them. When they are yelling racist things at you, it has to feel personal. They KNEW it was coming from the start. There was going to be a backlash at her,.. for no other reason other than she is Thai. So they went after her hard right after a Gayon awards performance. And here in the west, we did not know what was happening. We were used to Idols being in trouble accused of being in scandals. So we all wanted to know what Lisa had done to get all of this hatred. It was all over social media,.. "she can't dance, she can't sing, She can't rap. She's too skinny. She's a bad role model. She looks like a boy. she's an awful person,..." it just went on and on. They also said she's not asian enough. Lisa was born & raised in Thailand,.. how much more asian did they want her to be?? Anyway, we did not know about the hating Thai thing here in the west. So we were waiting to hear what they were accusing her of. So there was a lag allowing haters to gain steam before her real fans started responding. When we did start supporting her, it wasn't just once a day. More like every hour. Suddenly it was ALL about Lisa. It was Lisa we were going to lose. Idols DO get fired.
Fans were told they were yelling "thai monkey" at her. Truth is that was the nicest thing they yelled at her. It was more like "f#*ing Thai whore! Walking skeleton,... and much worse. Death threats at her, which is one thing. But they gave her parents address and said they would kill her family if she didn't leave the country. Blinks actually called Thai authorities to tell them they needed to protect her family. Suddenly she was something she never planned on being. She was the first black ball player in Major league baseball. She could not respond or show any reaction. Her bandmates (who were often standing next to her when she's getting yelled at) could not stand between haters & her. She had to take every blow and show them what a Thai person IS. Grace, dignity,... TALENT!!! If you ever want to see Jennie REALLY angry, look up those pictures of her when they are yelling at Lisa. What saved the day and flipped the script. When fans finally did come to support her,... they REALLY came out to support her. It was a FLOOD of support,.. that has never really gone away. We should give her props for taking every blow,... and being a very brave and courageous young girl in a really bad situation. Because her doing that (and not running away) means anyone can do it now. She opened the door for all non-Koreans to become idols. Because Lisa made it through all of that.
You know, Idols DO get fired when fans turn against them. If there were ever a moment when YG had decided to replace Lisa, I say Jennie puts her foot down. I say, Jennie says we are a team. You fire one of us, we all go. We'll be the biggest group in Thailand. Don't know that it happened. Just saying if there were ever a moment when Jennie puts her foot down,... that would have been THE moment.

You know Jennie hand picked each of the members of Blackpink. But just the fact that Lisa is in the group (an unpresidented first) sort of MAKES it a multicultural group. All of their backgrounds makes them a far reaching group. Jennie really gets the most hate. They call her stone gold diva. Watch Jennie when one of her bandmates is talking or shining in any way. The look of love and pride on Jennie's face when her friends are shining tells you everything about her character. I always thought Blackpink was Jennie's girls.
