The first one i can find the idea: "historically acurrate" is denied as a joke of it being used as a marketing tool to make it seem legitimate until they throw something bonkers and out of place (hello genderfield V) and lore friendly being accepted being that it respects what came before it and doesn't throws it out of the window ie it respect the story established previously.
