k3 pro has more pronounce mid and highs and has a bit more volume. k3 has a bit more bass. for me overall the k3 pro wins.

Agree on the comment... k3 has a better soun on bass but k3 pro it sound thin not as bold in bass.. but over all they both perform good

Don't waste time on such small gadget. Those who are serious in getting small portable speaker with really good sound, just buy UE wonderboom3. Your money will be well spent.
Those who are not serious and also stingy (feel heart pain for spending more money), just buy cheap speakers. Anything below USD10 to USD15, China design and China made, just buy.
But remember cheap not good, Good not cheap.
