I've been going to Branson since I was 5 years old, over 50 years now. There are always new things going in to see and do. For vanlifers, the State Park is $15 a night for basic sites.
If you go North on 65 highway., if you ever go that way, is an old shipping town that has a great deal of history. You will find a State Historic Dite and Park and campground (all about about 10 minutes from Marshall), the artist Thomas Hart Benton home, the older movie Tom Sawyer was filmed here, John Sappington the creator of quinine. Summer stock theater, the Lyceum, museums, dining, trails and maybe a cave or two, restored jistorical downtown, fun festivals and historic places all around. Once set on the Missourj River with a population around 100. The beautiful Annie and Able Van Meter State Park North of Marshall. Once the home of the Missouria Indians, Missouri’s American Indian Cultural Center, fishing lake, great trails through the Oumessourit Natural Area, a boardwalk trail, wetlands and extraordinary beautiful campgrounds. Definitely on the list and is about 70 miles east of Kansas City Missouri.
Thank you so much for the shout outs!! You are so awesome! Table Rock State Park is my favorite campground in the Ozarks area, and I see you got my favorite site there. Does everyone have favorite sites in the campgrounds they frequent?? It looks like you took the long way from the campground to downtown. So many nice places downtown that most people never go see. I always suggest to people to get one of the color route maps at any hotel and most campgrounds. It's the best way to learn all the back routes that will save you hours of time during the busy season. Stay off the 76 strip if at all possible. The new viewpoint is so nice. There are many around the Branson area, my favorite is the view tower in the Ruth and Paul Henning Conservation Area. I can hardly wait to see tomorrow's video!
I’ve never been to Branson but it’s on my list. We have a college in my state that operates similarly to College of the Ozarks….its Berea College and tuition is free but everyone has a job. Very good school and a blessing for so many in our area of KY who struggle with the cost of college but work hard and are determined.
I had an aunt and uncle that always were in Branson for shows, didn’t really understand that cause my family never went there and now I get it; honestly cause my dad was never interested so selfish of him. Loved this video and the eatery’s available. So cool 👍
I love your positivity. Thanks for taking us on your trips. I heard you mentioned that you still had a warranty on your van worrying about the check engine light. Like I don’t get it that’s the reason why you don’t do insulation, shouldn’t Nissan take care of the check engine light?
@@jackiedotson5804 I should add it's great service all over town. I've never found a dead spot anywhere in the Branson area. The State Park is less than 5 minutes from town.
Table rock is my favorite go to. Did you know you can purchase a $75.00 gift card and get $25.00 e-gift card free? May be available certain time of the year but the card is good anytime and can be used at various Missouri State parks.

I love the sweater! Cute colors on you!
Love that sweater. Hope you're staying toasty. I actually have snow ❄️ (2" or so) in my little corner of the Gulf Coast south of Houston.
Thank you for taking us on another great adventure ❤
No problem!!!
I appreciate that you have a list of places that are contributed by others that you go to.
Never thought I wanted to go to Branson - you changed my mind. Thanks,

Nice viewpoint. If you see this Mr. Murphy thanks for sharing this so we could go with Bunny.
You are very welcome!
Been catching up on videos this morning. Been enjoying your Missouri videos.
I enjoy the region so much!! It is so nice to see new things each time I visit.
Nice upgrade to the viewpoint, greatly improved since 2009.
I am so pleased and happy to see the attention to detail now

@@nancyllowe4 Thanks for the information!
That tea house looked really unique. Always enjoy seeing the places you end up.
It is such an adorable place!!! I loved the cozy vibe of it with the ceiling being a bit lower and decorated so well
I completely understand the “slippery slope “ of eating the yummy food. I frequently lock things away in the to-go box. 😊
Oh. Yes. Branson totally awsome..
