Israhell doesn’t want that. They want all Palestinians out or live under military rule. Palestinians are sick of it and the only thing they can do is fight the occupation.

What I have found most shocking, not even considering I am a former US Army Infantry officer, is the abject lack of infantry support for tanks/armored vehicles and unbelievably poor cohesive small unit tactics, especially concerning security... Soldiers in an active combat zone openly, casually standing fully exposed in open windows? Soldiers in assembly areas bunched together with extremely lax security. Soldiers moving through rubble strewn areas with comical levels of situational awareness and a complete lack of tactical urgency. Study the tactics of how the Battle of Stalingrad was fought to see a completely diametric opposite manner of warfare, that would have had every Israeli soldier neutralized very quickly conducting ground operations the way they are in Gaza. I have been to Israel (during the 1st Intifada) and have family that knew Israeli Officers and to be sure, their command structure is much less formal than what I experienced and demanded of my troops as an officer, and it shows. For myself it seems Israel has/had become FAR too reliant on technology and air power, while fielding what seems to me a very weak ground force that has not the stomach, capacity for loss or drive as compared to their opponent. My own country has been the victim of similar situations by violating a core principal of warfare; namely underestimating your enemies prowess, creativity, toughness and will to fight and die that will get many of your soldiers killed or maimed. May peace prevail before this really gets out of hand. Thank you.
You realize that the Palestinians cannot adopt the Soviet tactics of Stalingrad. Palestinians don't have qualitative or quantitative parity with the Israelis. Palestinians in Gaza don't have land to maneuver around the Israelis and try to flank them. Palestinians cannot really adopt sniper tactics because Israel has essentially unlimited firepower to call air strikes and destroy any buildings in their way. The only thing the Palestinians can do is to fight through the rubble created by Israeli bombardment. For that, infantry men is all Palestine has. They don't have tanks or artillery or SAMS to fight back.

Perhaps Israel should do the same and lose what seems an invincibility complex as it relates to ground warfare. Of course again this is not a war of attrition as it could be with vast standing armies of similar parity, but IMO the Palestinians have a far greater mental capacity for loses than the Israelis and are showing great bravery, guile and capability exactly because and in spite of their greatly disadvantageous position. It is difficult to fully explain in a written comment section assertions concerning a very complex, very multi-dimensional conflict especially as it applies here, but. MANY many TANKS I have seen on SOCIAL media the past say 3 weeks ISREALi TANKS getting damaged.also saw many idf solders getting killed and MANY seriously injured
Active protective armour were first used by soviets but later discontinued because the blast itself injured or kills the soldiers around it the very soldiers the tank suppose to protect by giving a cover
Judging by the number of tank attacks and the photos of the collection of destroyed tanks in presumably Gaza city - id say injuries will be high as i have seen nearly 20 tank photos or attacks…the intifada say 160 vehicles destroyed in which case casualties must be much higher i dont know anything about infantry fighting or losses amongst The resisters or idf
Russia ranks second in the world's arms export. Moscow supplies arms and military equipment to 66 countries, has concluded agreements on military and technical cooperation with 85 countries and its portfolio of orders for defence-related products currently stands at a staggering $46.3 billion
I'm afraid Russia's defense industry will soon die off as Russia can no longer supply foreign customers with arms due to the Ukrainian War. Even the Russian military is struggling to arm its own troops.
I think Jon Elmer is mistaken or got ba little mixed up. The (relatively new) 360 trophy defense system is not the same as reactive/explosive armour. The trophy 360 system is not a one shot/single use item covering certain parts of the tank. The trophy system has 1 launcher each side of a tank and using radar and visual sensors detects incoming projectiles and calculates when to launch a counter measure shot (a shotgun shot as Jon said is a great description). This is fully autonomous however it cant really be used if your own infantry are in close support for obv reasons. Reactive/explosive armour is single use, it is bolted to sections of the tank armour, it causes the projectile to explode a few inches away from the actual outer metal shell of the tank itself, protecting it once, thereafter it is exposed. If the trophy system tales out the rpg, the reactive armour isn't used up so to speak. Regarding the yasin 105, that is quite an impressive piece of kit for something built in gaza (albeit based on an old soviet design), a dual stage anti tank missile, if I'm not mistaken the 1st part liquifies the outer shell of the tank making it molten whish then allows the 2nd explosive part to enter the tank. Ofc that's the theory, how well it works against the excellent merkava tank is another. It would be v.interesting to know what components hamas uses for the stage 1 thermal component of the yasin 105. A weak spot at least of older merkavas, is the rear of the tank, as there is an entrance/exit hatch here (a rare thing on modern battle tanks, but that can be a life saver for crew if they need to exit in a hurry). These older merkavas still make up a significant proportion of Israeli tanks. I wouldn't believe for a sec that hamas has destroyed >100 tanks. We need to see pictures of bombed out & disabled tanks to get a more accurate number
The tandem projectile idea is specifically for counter the ERA, with the first projectile triggering the armour and the second targeting the actual tank. The trophy system seems to have blind spots, but we have also seen a few different tactics of disabling it, the simplest of which (and perhaps the most elegant) is a double barrelled launcher, firing two explosives, one which gets intercepted and another that makes contact within the 1.5s reload time As for the tanks and vehicles taken out of commission, satellite imagery on Nov 8th showed 88 destroyed vehicles in the north (Qassam claimed 120-130 at the time, which would have about 30-45 vehicles being taken out in the south) and the IDF confirmed that 10% of their tanks are currently out of commission (they mobilised around a thousand), so accounting for transport vehicles, bulldozers and other vehicles the numbers from the Qassam brigades do indeed seem correct. It does call into question the death tolls that Israel mentioned, because it seems to obscure a massive number of injuries that would have accumulated from the attacks on the vehicles
I would like to make a humble suggestion, it would be nice if EI could make smaller clips to raise awareness and attract more viewers. Thank you for the truth
@@kahutochishisumi9056 true it's like that however the sensor have reaction time it's not instantaneous, the interceptor still need to be aimed correctly to counter incoming

MANY many TANKS I have seen on SOCIAL media the past say 3 weeks ISREALi TANKS getting damaged.also saw many idf solders getting killed and MANY seriously injured
link please

Thanks.
Active protective armour were first used by soviets but later discontinued because the blast itself injured or kills the soldiers around it the very soldiers the tank suppose to protect by giving a cover
Thank you for your honest report
Subscribed...love you guys and thr great work you are doing..keep it up 💪💪
Good journalism, pro❤
Very interesting video
I have read 46 idf casualties for now - is that accurate?
By Israel's count. Probably higher but the IDF have a history of staggering casualty reports.
Judging by the number of tank attacks and the photos of the collection of destroyed tanks in presumably Gaza city - id say injuries will be high as i have seen nearly 20 tank photos or attacks…the intifada say 160 vehicles destroyed in which case casualties must be much higher
i dont know anything about infantry fighting or losses amongst The resisters or idf
360 IDF soldiers and ~30 vehicles by Israel's account.
@@Drinkingyoursaltytearsallahthat’s the 7th October death toll.
@@damiensmith1090 wow, 10% out of action is a huge number then.
The tandem projectile idea is specifically for counter the ERA, with the first projectile triggering the armour and the second targeting the actual tank. The trophy system seems to have blind spots, but we have also seen a few different tactics of disabling it, the simplest of which (and perhaps the most elegant) is a double barrelled launcher, firing two explosives, one which gets intercepted and another that makes contact within the 1.5s reload time
As for the tanks and vehicles taken out of commission, satellite imagery on Nov 8th showed 88 destroyed vehicles in the north (Qassam claimed 120-130 at the time, which would have about 30-45 vehicles being taken out in the south) and the IDF confirmed that 10% of their tanks are currently out of commission (they mobilised around a thousand), so accounting for transport vehicles, bulldozers and other vehicles the numbers from the Qassam brigades do indeed seem correct.
It does call into question the death tolls that Israel mentioned, because it seems to obscure a massive number of injuries that would have accumulated from the attacks on the vehicles
I think the Trophy radar system will also experience a lot of background clutter in such a built up area.

Pls bring more truth into the world..
Very good journalism
Excellent video
Thank you
The reason the merkava tank is one of the worst ever built is that personnel sit on top pf the ammo above the engine,
It’s a Stalingrad type fight!! Germany leveled the city and went in! They got destroyed??
Great insight.
Very informative ❤
I would like to make a humble suggestion, it would be nice if EI could make smaller clips to raise awareness and attract more viewers.
Thank you for the truth
brilliant
God bless you all

Asymmetric (urban) warfare at its finest...
The trophy system has two launchers, each with three rounds each. One covers the rear of the tank, the other covers the front.
It have 60 meter minimum range below 100m the countermeasures iof APS is highly inaccurate and the interception rate is lower than 25%
@@gkagaraI don't think it's even that. It's a bit like firing birdshot from a shotgun, in hopes of intercepting a bullet.
@@kahutochishisumi9056 true it's like that however the sensor have reaction time it's not instantaneous, the interceptor still need to be aimed correctly to counter incoming
