I used my vertuo pod and made an almond joy inspired iced coffee! I used almond milk and creme de cacao syrup and lined the glass with chocolate sauce and it was delicious.
I think adding other coconut flavors will make it too coconuty.

It’s so weird how everyone is so different with this one.
What I like most about this line is it doesn’t have that gross aftertaste or artificial coconut flavor. It’s not bitter either..
I tried the coffee pod, over ice and it was so amazing I didn’t even need to put any sugar or anything on it. I had to get online and order more right away. It has a natural sweetness to it.
I also tried the espresso pods those were amazing as well.

My friend went to the Nespresso store last night and surprised me with 20 pods.
One thing, I hate coconut but I had a feeling I would like this.
I just made an ice coffee with sweetened oat milk. It’s so damn goodb!!

I used the Verturo pod. I did it with the chobani coffee creamer flip edition the coconut flavor and then one pump of the coconut syrup from torani and it’s fantastic! So refreshing. Not a strong coffee but something so refreshing for summer time
Seeeeeee I don’t think I would like what you described because the pod was already too coconut so I feel like adding more coconut things would just make me sick. I do plan on going back to the drawing board and trying it again though. Thank you sooo much for Watching 😃

hey yeah I didn't like it in the coffee pod to watery for me, but I did like it in the espresso pod way better also I did use two pods as well I didn't think one would be enough.

I tried vertuo yesterday and it was a bit weak over ice. I then made coconut ice cubes so I'll try again today. I'm buying more and try the original line as well since I have both machines. so far a thumbs up after one try

I personally don't like flavored coffee but my mom and I had an iced coffee with this pod and it wasn't bad. My mom absolutely loved it, for me it was ok. Not bad but I just really like a strong cup of coffee and this was definitely light. I have to say that I like it didn't taste artificial, I do find that it has a toasted coconut taste vs a regular coconut taste (if that makes sense)
All in all, think its best for you to taste and make your own opinion if you like it. I paired the coffee pod with extra creamy oat milk.
Hey girl! I absolutely agree. I always say we all have different taste buds so we all obviously won’t like the same things hehe! So glad your mom was able to enjoy it! I’ll def explore a bit more with it. I just knew I was gonna love it and planned next weeks video around it so; back to the drawing board I go!
@@maisonmalli update: I added a shot of espresso and it did improve the water down effect of the pod and it tame down the coconut taste (but not my much) overall, it won't be a repeat purchase. But at least now I know what to do with my leftover pods 👍

well I guess you already know what I think 😂🤣😂 I do plan on revisiting these though next week! Hopefully I like them better then but I’m so shocked that I was overwhelmed by the vertuo coconut. I love coconut everything!

Thanks for the review. I got mine on Friday and was very excited to try it. I didn't mind that there was quite a coconut taste But......I'm wondering if I'd get the same flavor by using my 7.7 oz Solelio (which I really love) with some shots of my Torani coconut syrup. This way, I don't have to buy tons of the coconut ones. I thought it was okay but not that excited getting used to a flavor that's not going to be around for long, if I am correct on this information. I'll keep trying it to see if I like it any other ways. I'm wondering how it tastes as a warm coffee? Thanks again.
I love the VL 7.77 pod. I made a White Chocolate Mocha hot. Iced was good too but I drank it down in about 3 minutes.

I loved it! I used it one ice with the Chobani sweet creamer but I added chocolate syrup from Monin. It was like an almond joy. I plan to use with A2 milk next.

Hi ,love your videos, you are totally responsible for me spending a lot of money, you make all coffee drinks look delicious ! I have the WS machine too, did you do anything to the amount of espresso you get, I feel I get a lot less, how many ounces do you get, thanks !😁

I think the vertuo pod is ok. I have several ideas for it. I'm going to make an iced Samoa cookie inspired coffee with caramel syrup whipped cream and chocolate and caramel drizzle. Coconut creamer just doesn't seem like it would work with that pod. Just because it's coconut milk I guess people assume it works. This appears to be a lite flavored pod. I enjoy it black over ice with a splash of fresh half and half. No syrups added. I would purchase it again but hey everyone is different.
I JUST had this and it was delicious! I will say I did not brew it over ice I brewed it normal let it cool down and and then poured it over ice I used a sugar free vanilla syrup with heavy cream an almond milk cold foam and it was absolutely delicious I can totally taste the coconut the coconut down to the last drop. I saw your review 1st so I was so surprised at how much coconut came through I'll I will definitely buy more.
I’m so happy you like it. If you look at the comments down below it’s def not a pod most people like it’s kind of 50/50. I honestly tried this pod so many ways over and if I can’t simply add ice and milk to something without having to make Elaborate recipes then I don’t want it 😄
What would a little chocolate taste like? Make like an almond joy coffee. So using the coconut creamer with the chocolate sauce or chocolate flavor syrup? I haven’t got the new pods yet to try this myself. Just a thought.

I was all excited about this one. I LOVE coconut flavors. I was so let down by the hazelino not tasting like hazelnut - at all! Hmm. I think I'll just order 1 sleeve. I was going to get like 5 sleeves before seeing this review. Did you try it as a hot frothy creamy coffee?
Yea! I feel the same about hazelino. I do love vanilla custard pie though. I have tired it hot. I made it in a reel on Instagram! 😍

The only way I’ve enjoyed the coffee pod so far is with chobani flip, have tried it with sweet cream chobani and nope did not like. I do prefer and enjoy the original line way better your reaction at the end 😄 that sass lol

You can buy a sleeve of 10 pods. But not like a single 1 pod if that’s what you are asking. Let’s say you buy a sleeve and try one and don’t like it. They are kind enough to offer you a new sleeve since they aren’t taking things back due to covid
I think this will have its fans, I ordered but not for myself because I knew it wouldn't be a bold enough coffee taste for me. For the Vertuo pods maybe you can try it as a shorter brew which may help with the watered down taste. For the coconut flavor to come through I assumed they would make the coffee much much lighter which they did. Maybe add cocoa next time.

I’m waiting to see if my local Nespresso gets this LE in 🤞🏼. Maybe not for another 1.5 months which blows. For now I got my Torani coconut syrup and Gourmesso’s Noce di Cocco pod.

So far I don't like these however my boxes came damaged but I was able to use a couple capdules in the box. I am hoping that the taste is because the capsules were messed up but I'm not crazy about it. I tasted no coconut.
The taste has nothing to do with capsule being messed up 🤣😂🤣 not laughing at u; I’m laughing at how much I don’t like these and seemingly a lot of other people too. Call Nespresso and they will send you new product since they are smashed 😃
@@maisonmalli I did call and sent pictures. Id only ordered one coconut sleeve but my sleeve total was 6 plus a descale kit. My outside box was good but coconut, solelio and chiaro capsules and boxes were dented some really smashed. They said theyd resend and give me an extra bianco but id already ordered 3 of those prior. She had asked me what my favourite coffee flavor was that I had tried so far at the start of our call after i told her my problem. if I'd known she was gonna send me something I already had I would have named something else but it was still pretty sweet of them to do.
I really wish they would have done it as a double espresso like the bianco leggero or iced leggero. .I feel I would have enjoyed it more that way. But in had to sweeten this pod a bit more then normal....maybe if you tried it with some chocolate?

I literally just said the same thing today! the pod is way too big and waters it down in my opinion
@@jenbastos4707 what I have started doing and I enjoy it much more is I split it in drinks. I bree it into a jar I use half in one before my work out and toss the other half of that coffee in the fridge and after my work out I have the other half in another drink! Much better I really like it with a choclate protein shake

I shared the same feeling about this pod and had regrets about purchasing it. However, I decided to try it with the chobani almond coco loco and my entire world changed. You have to give this option a try.

Wow, I only ordered the Vertuo ones. I have both machines so I hope that it’s at least drinkable. Maybe with some A2 & chocolate sauce it will be better. I should have mine on Monday so I’ll let you know how it goes. I’ve loved coconut my whole life so I’m hoping that I can at least doctor it up a little. I’m thinking A2, chocolate & caramel sauce to tone the coconut down a notch.

Hi I tried today Tropical Coconut...when I was visiting the Nespresso shop.
Had with Oat milk. I must admit I very much didn't like the taste. So I ended up buying the Tropical Coconut Pods. And tried at home with Milk. Still 🤮.
I won't throw away , so will experiment with Salted vanilla or Caramel Syrup😊

I too bought both pods. Wasn’t a big fan of the Vertuo one. However, I love the Original Line one. I’m enjoying most as a hot double cappuccino with my Oatly Barista Edition Oat Milk. I’m going to order more of the OL one while they are still available. :)

I have the vertuo....kinda watery. Will give it another try. I used monin syrup and a lil bit of caramel drizzle and I was underwhelmed.
yea syrup did not help this one
Ive been putting it in the freezer for a while and either not adding ice or adding very little ice and very little creamer. That’s helped prevent any wateriness.

I went to Nespresso today ( Located in Sur-La-Table) near my job today. I couldn’t wait to try this. I purchased one box of Vertuo & one box of Orginal. Well I definitely try the Vertuo tonight and I must say Yuck!!!!!!. I paired this with Califia Almond Coconut blend milk. For me the coconut flavor was not overpowering, but it was the aftertaste. Even adding the milk still left that bad taste behind. I don’t think adding anything in it whether it’s creamer, milk, non-dairy milk, flavored syrup it would help with this horrid aftertaste. I will definitely use it because I hate to waste it. Nespresso can keep this one. I haven’t tried the espresso yet, but when I do I will let you know my thoughts on that. Wish me luck on that one. I think I am going to need it.

I was waiting on your thoughts on the VL pod. I don’t like it either and I LOVE coconut flavor anything. I have tried so many ways as I was one of the lucky few that was able to order last month. I think it is a combination of the flavor of the pod and the weakness of the coffee. It’s a no for me.

This is so odd. I typically do NOT like coconut but I LIKE the coconut Vertuo pod! I used English Toffee syrup because my coconut syrup hadn’t arrived yet! I will see what I think with the coconut syrup. I ordered more sleeves of the pod.

I ordered two boxes (vertuo) and I didn't like it too much 😭. But what I didn't like about it is the opposite, it's too mild and does not taste enough like coffee, especially with the ice cubes as it gets watered down.
Kind of that I was trying to say watered down coffee but strong coconut taste. Didn’t like that. Gonna try again 😣
You should try original pod. It's better. My friend have a vertuo and I have original. We use the same espresso coffee but her in vertuo is different than mine. I think that vertuo is more watery than original. You should try original one. It would be better. It is for me 🤷🏻♂️
Hey!!! I did try it in this video and found it to just be ok. It def is wayyyy better than the vertuo one. Also I tried it again in my latest video, the new Nespresso syrup video..check it out. I found a recipe for it and absolutely love it now too!
@@maisonmalli I'm glad you like it now. Coffee definitely taste better from the original than vertuo. I like espresso and it's better and stronger from original. I think vertuo put too much water in pod and destroy the real taste of coffee. That is my opinion, maybe someone likes it that way but I'm more happy with original 🤷🏻♂️
I just tried the coconut pod after watching your video and I have to say I was a little underwhelmed. The coffee flavor was too mild for me. I do not like strong coffee however, I do like to taste the coffee in my drinks. I paired it with 2% milk then tasted it, not much flavor. I then added coconut syrup which helped tremendously. As I have stated in the past I am not much of an iced coffee drinker but gave it a try since I love coconut, very disappointed. I will try it hot and switch up the milk pairing to see if I get better results. Thanks for the video.

I agree with you 100%. I did not like either one of these. I tried each one several different ways and couldn’t get myself to drink any of them. So disappointing. I’m glad I only purchased one sleeve of each. I wish I would have waited for your review before purchasing them.

@@maisonmalli, don’t pay any attention to those comments. You did an honest review. Some people just can’t handle a difference of opinion. I tried both original and vertuo coffees and honestly could not get myself to drink any of them. I absolutely love all of your reviews.
Rather than wasting your coconut pods, make them into ice cubes, then when you have an iced latte, the ice wont dilute your latte.

I'm not into coconut at all so it was always a no for me for trying it but still wanted to watch because I love your energy. However...I can tell you weren't feeling these girl because your energy was not the same on this video lol! Maybe some other flavor creamer will help OR add a shot of espresso (not flavored) to the vertuo one to strengthen the drink and maybe make is less "coconutty"

Hmmm. Perhaps I’ll just stick with my Monin coconut syrup, bianco leggero, oat milk, and ice.
Does the monin coconut syrup taste sour at all? I noticed it has citric acid in it.

Yeah it didn’t do it for me either.. maybe I lost the rich coffee taste or it got too watered down adding anything to it I can’t pin point to what’s happening with this little pod. You know what it Tasted like ??? Lol it Made a Great BoBBA!! 😂

I didn't think I'd like it as I'm not a fan of fruity coffee. FOMO caused me to order, this is how I had it today - lined glass with a Salted Caramel Chocolate syrup and added Natural Bliss Sweet Cream. It was tolerable, sort of tasted like an almond joy or mounds. It definitely got better as I drank it, but I will not be ordering again.
Vertuo flavoured pods always need to be stopped early, as soon as you see the coffee stream starting to lose it's dark brown color, shut it off.
Never had to do that with any of my other ones to enjoy them but I’ll def give your suggestion a shot! Thank you Julian! Handsome pic by the way 😃

You are supposed to dispense it over ice. Not pour it over ice, it tastes different (similar to how Japanese ice coffee works)
🙄 ive tried it every which way and it still doesn’t change the fact that it’s trash in my opinion. You go ahead and enjoy it though 😃

I bought the vertuo pod. Not a fan. I agree too much artificial coconut taste. Think I dislike it even more than LaCumplida. At least you can doctor that one up. Glad I only bought one sleeve.
