Only 8% or 10% of arms sales is suspended
8.5%
Board Of Deputies has to approve it, so no chance. No Palestine flags in the conference hall - looked and sounded more like a Tory Conference.
Canada is studying recognition of Palestine
There needs to be actual action not words. Recognise the Palestinian state now.
Really odd how he didn't want to say 'ireland' there
Better to wait till it can have more impact surely?
What people apparently want to see and what actually happens aren't necessarily the same thing though are they Liam
What people really care about is the state of the British economy.
@@NeonVisual I can walk and chew gum. Can’t you?
BS by the Starmer party
Just like corbyn.
@@Believe-you-me- corbyn is for the people , i'm still amazed by how dumb the british public is voting for borris instead of corbyn . perhaps you deserve the "leaders" you vote in.
"wwahh wahh labour wahh"
Action please!
Labour playing politics
Clear timetable for recognition will go along way… Also, sanctions on businesses trading and profiting from misery in the occupied lands.
Thank You Liam Byrne
Action speaks far louder
One year on and they still waffle on!
Who cares? 95% of the electorate couldn't care less
American shackles are loosening
They really aren't. Watch what they are doing, not what they are saying.
They are still in lockstep with the US on everything that matters.
Starmer ain’t going to do that and upset the Americans.
Then do it. I want a nice sandwich, but it’s not going to happen unless I get off my arse and do it.
The existence of your nice sandwich can be justified, unlike Palestine.
Is it pronounced Bay-roo??

And will any country of importance, outside of the UK, actually care? Maybe the US, but they’ve largely given up on the UK since it ejected itself from the EU.
None of this bullshit was in your manifesto you are just doing what ever you like??
Let’s look after the British people and forget about them. Who is more important than the British people. We pay our taxes to help the UK not to squander money to other countries. They wouldn’t send money to us so why do send to them
YOUR taxes have been used to help Israel kill children. So wtf are you talking about
As the 6th or 7th richest country in the world there are few countries who would see us as a charity case. We have enough money to solve our problems, we just don't use it well.
@@davidrobertson9174 no we don’t,the politicians squandered all of the money and that is why we pay more taxes
Let's be selfish, insular, nationalistic, basically. We don't need friends in the world, we can go it alone.
That kind of thinking gave us Brexit.
95% of the British public care about more pressing issues which affect their daily lives, not foreign wars.
Play stupid games win stupid prizes Israel 🇮🇱💪🏻👍

The Zionist Jews said that to the non Zionist Jews in the 1930s. Just before they gave Zionist Hitler his final orders. All the important Zionist Jews got out in 1933. All that was left behind was the "self Haters" who opposed the creation of Israel.. They was Rothschilds biggest obstacle. Telling people at the Zion world conference that every single Jew saw Palestine as their homeland. But Millions of Jews disagreed and protested.. where did they go, who benefited most from their demise?. . The truth ,Zionist Jews hate it, and those who speak it... No Nazis No Israel Zion is Nazi state 🇮🇱
Hypocrites.
Try looking at whats happening & helping the uk rather saving the rest of the world
If UK are found guilty of funding or aiding and abetting Israels GENOCIDE of Palestinians then under Article 25 of the Statute of Rome UK would have to pay compensation and reparation which if you are a Taxpayer would come out of your pocket - think before you make dumb statements
That’d be a relatively fair statement (although we can do more than one thing at a time) if it wasn’t for the arms sales we were engaged in that was directly contributing?
And then shortly afterwards we'll recognise the independent state of the Donbas?
Look at these apples... They make terrible oranges

@@Borderman47 Not many tax payers alive today that had any part in the Balfour declaration. Men in the UK didn't even have universal suffrage in 1917 so the voting public, on the whole, didn't have a say.

Silly little man . Palistine has never existed so please get a life @@Borderman47
It's not a state. There's no agreement. They're refugees.
Palestine is country occupied by Israel.
British politics discussing Middle Eastern matters.
About time labour changed tack on Palestine.
Well said Liam Byrne.
It's "Hodge Hill" not Hidge Hill
Where is this "Palestine' state?
That little patch between Egypt and Israel.

Yes,its not a war than could affect the UK.Israel is our ally.
