      It's hard to tell without troubleshooting, but my team seems to think it's a driver issue.
      They recommend checking out your graphic drivers and reinstalling them. Newer versions of windows will remove Sleep Mode if graphic drivers are not installed.
      We would consider a short, but this seems less likely since Type C & USB are both being affected.
      Best of luck with troubleshooting your issue!

    The video showcases a high-end workstation build featuring **four NVIDIA RTX 4090 GPUs**, a **Threadripper Pro 5995WX 64-core processor**, and other premium components designed for extreme performance. Let's break down what such a system means in terms of performance and usage:
    ### Performance Implications:
    1. **GPU Power**:
    - Four RTX 4090s are capable of delivering massive computational power, especially in tasks that rely heavily on parallel processing (e.g., machine learning, 3D rendering, video encoding). In **Blender** or similar rendering applications, this configuration can drastically reduce rendering times, allowing faster project turnover.
    - Benchmarks in the video show near-linear scaling of performance in GPU-heavy tasks, with the system achieving 62,000 points in **Locksmarch GPU performance tests**, almost quadrupling the performance of a single RTX 4090. This means high efficiency in multi-GPU setups.
    2. **CPU Power**:
    - The **AMD Threadripper 5995WX** with 64 cores provides incredible multi-core performance, especially for tasks like **video rendering**, **3D animation**, and **scientific computing** that can leverage parallelization.
    - While the CPU may not excel as much in single-core performance, its ability to handle vast multi-core tasks complements the GPU rendering power effectively.
    3. **Memory and Storage**:
    - With **256 GB of DDR4 memory**, the system can handle vast amounts of data processing at once, making it ideal for memory-intensive applications like **big data analytics**, **simulation**, or **scientific computing**.
    - Fast NVMe storage ensures that large project files load quickly, improving overall system responsiveness, especially when dealing with 4K/8K video or large datasets.
    4. **Liquid Cooling**:
    - The use of custom **EKWB water blocks** and softline tubing for liquid cooling ensures that even under extreme workloads, the GPUs and CPU are kept at optimal temperatures, which is crucial for preventing thermal throttling and maintaining consistent performance.
    ### Who is it For?
    - This setup is designed for **professional workloads**, not gaming or consumer use. It’s ideal for businesses and individuals working in fields such as **3D animation**, **video rendering**, **AI development**, **machine learning**, or **scientific simulations**. These industries benefit from reducing the time taken for rendering or processing, thus allowing for more projects to be completed in a shorter period.

    ### ROI and Business Impact:
    - The investment in a system like this, though extremely expensive, can pay for itself by significantly speeding up workflows, which in turn can generate more revenue, especially in rendering-intensive industries.

    ### Summary:
    This workstation build is a powerhouse, combining cutting-edge GPUs with an industry-leading CPU, massive memory, and effective cooling. It's designed for enterprises needing top-tier performance for demanding applications and is an excellent example of a workstation that can deliver almost unprecedented productivity and speed in professional environments.
    ==============================
    The cost of a system like the one described in the video can vary significantly depending on factors like customization, region, and component availability. However, we can estimate the approximate cost based on current pricing (as of late 2023) for the components used in this build:
    ### Breakdown of Estimated Costs:
    1. **Four NVIDIA RTX 4090 GPUs**:
    - Each RTX 4090 costs around **$1,600 to $2,000**, depending on the model and cooling solution.
    - Total for four RTX 4090s: **$6,400 to $8,000**.
    2. **AMD Threadripper 5995WX 64-core Processor**:
    - This high-end workstation CPU costs around **$6,500 to $7,000**.
    3. **256 GB DDR4 Memory (Kingston, 3200 MHz)**:
    - High-capacity RAM like this costs about **$1,000 to $1,200**, depending on the brand and specific configuration.
    4. **Motherboard: ASUS WRX80 Sage (SE)**:
    - One of the top-end motherboards for the Threadripper platform, costing around **$1,000 to $1,200**.
    5. **Storage (Western Digital Black SN850 NVMe SSDs)**:
    - A 1 TB NVMe SSD costs about **$100 to $150**, and a 4 TB version costs around **$350 to $450**.
    - Total for storage: **$450 to $600**.
    6. **Thermaltake W200 Case**:
    - This large, premium case costs around **$400 to $600**.
    7. **Liquid Cooling (EKWB custom loop for CPU and GPUs)**:
    - Custom liquid cooling setups (including radiators, water blocks, tubing, and fittings) can cost **$1,000 to $2,000**, depending on the complexity and parts used.
    8. **Two Power Supplies (likely high-wattage, ~1500W units)**:
    - Each high-wattage PSU costs around **$300 to $500**, so for two, the cost would be **$600 to $1,000**.
    9. **Windows 11 Pro for Workstations**:
    - This version of Windows costs around **$200 to $400**, depending on licensing.
    ### Total Estimated Cost:
    Adding everything up, the total estimated cost for a build like this would be:
    - **Lower end**: **$16,550**
    - **Higher end**: **$21,400**
    This is just an estimate, and the price could be higher or lower depending on specific component choices, labor costs for building and testing the system, and additional features like extended warranties or support. Custom-built workstations like this are typically investments for businesses, not individual consumers, due to their high cost and specialized performance.

    "We have occupied all 8 DIMM slots on this board for maximum memory performance."
    Maximum memory performance is on every board achieved by populating one DIMM per memory controller channel. On a 12 DIMM slot 6 channel board, you are best advised to populate 6 slots: the ones farthest away from the CPU. Populating the 6 slots nearest to the CPU would give better performance but also cause system instability up to crashes.

      @Avadirect  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The general answer is, it depends on what app(s) you are using.
      Gaming - It's not worth it for most gaming. There are only 13 games that natively support NVIDIA SLI. Games that don't support SLI can run, but they won't utilize the processing.
      The performance gain is likely not worth the cost difference compared to a single high end card. These combos can have some issues with crashing on some games just by having the two cards installed.
      Rendering - A lot of apps support two GPUs. Certain apps like Cinema4D allow a combo of two GPUs to both be utilized fully; the cards don't have to match model either.
      The overall price and power cost is the main thing to consider. If you know you need more processing in an app that utilizes two, then it's worth it. You will need to make sure the PSU is able to handle the extended power load. GPUs usually take the most power anyway.

I just wanted to know that because I'm going to buy a 3060 to my currently building pc, so i can update it with another 4070 super or ti super if possible. @@nashonightmare Since replying I saw a better dual rig video by BadSeed Tech rendering with DaVici, and getting good gains. Granted, not 3d. A commentor stated mixed cards will run at the speed of the slower card, but I'm not 100% that is true. Plus, my new rig is Ubuntu, so may be diff than Win. Look for my article on the build in 3D World mag, in a month or two. I used a 4060Ti, and will put a 4060 in as a second card when time permits (and when I find another psu to pci cable! lol)

      Our sales team can help you configure a suitable PC if you're having trouble finding compatible components.
      However, take a look at the ASUS ROG Strix z790 gaming wifi. It should work as long as true 3-slot 4090s are used.

      Even if your PC has three 4060s, most modern games will only utilize 1 GPU. So the 4090 will perform better than three 4060s in gaming in almost every single scenario.

    @AVADirect Custom Computers - Why split all 4 GPUs?

    • @Avadirect
      @Avadirect  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      In order to sandwich four cards, you need a terminal block that allows coolant to flow through each card. Two-way terminal blocks are somewhat (barely) common. However quad-terminal blocks don’t exist for RTX 40 series blocks, so we had to space them in order to run tubing to each card.
      Plus, splitting up the cards allows us to run two separate loops a bit easier, ensuring everything installed in the system is cooled as effectively as possible.

    • @Avadirect
      @Avadirect  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@lhbbq Most mATx boards are limited to desktop-socket processors like Intel Core series or AMD Ryzen. Those processors don’t have the kind of PCIe bandwidth necessary to provide 16x/16x PCIe slots without resorting to 8x/8x, or 16x/8x. This is why we always recommend Threadripper for anything that requires unadulterated 16x PCIe bandwidth. If any one manufacturer was brave enough to release a WRX80 mATX board, you better believe we would be building solutions with it!

    four 4090, what are u gonna use them for as a consumer anyway? You can only use one of them, and the other 3 will be useless. Having more then one Graphics Card does not equal more Performance. You actually need Programms that can utilize all 4 Graphics Cards, and even if you have that, its not like double or triple or even four times the power. If you tell them all to do the same thing, they block each other.

      Huhn? Machine learning and code acceleration, 3D rendering (Blender)... Where have you been? Are you stuck on the entire SLI is dead thing? I have two 3090's using NVLink that scale to 198% of 200% using Blender (link not required). On benchmarks such as time spy, I'm getting 4090 numbers! Let's not talk about CUDA (Debian Bookworm makes an awesome platform for AI if done the Debian way) and computation acceleration.
      Are we a gamer only? The remark is polarized and ad hominem.
      Personal render farm even comes to mind. Renting out the service even comes to mind. What about an arcade scenario powered by say a Threadripper Pro with GPU pass-through using a Type 1 Hypervisor with multiple gaming VMs? Wow!
      I just don't have the funds. I've the imagination! Give it a try for real. Many of my ideas are limited by scale. Drop that hardware in my lap; yup, I can create a need for the equipment and generate capital. Just saying.
