The original version of "Life's A Game of Give and Take" from the "In Our Lifetime?" sessions. The tapes/reels had ended up in a private collection and were UNLABELED!!! The person just happened to listen to them one day and had an "OH, S###, I THINK THIS IS MARVIN GAYE!" moment. They made a phone call and the rest is history. The entire original sessions could have ended up in the trash.

I truly miss him i really wish he did not try to commit suicide each time he tried he would fail i truly believe he miss Tammy Trell so sickly that's the only way i believe that was part of his misery and among other things in his life. But he realized he had to battle newer cats like Teddy Pendergrass, Frankie Beverly, Prince & Rick James for his fans, so he regrouped and decided to make a straight ahead funky dance album. He changed the lyrics to every song he'd recorded for it, including this one.
