I still have all my Coach handbags, from high school! I graduated in 1989😳🤣😂. They are in EXCELLENT condition! Just heard you say you were born in 1990! My bags are older than you! 😮😂☺️
My biggest disappointment that I ever had was not purchasing the black leather Coach brief/lap top carrier back in the early 2000s when I got my PhD. I had asked my then husband and my family to get it for me for my graduation. Suffice it to say they didn't put money together, but my foster mother got me a little 8in by 20 in purse. I loved my gift, but was still disappointed that I had to carry Samsonite to those posh business meetings at uni that I went to. Oh well, maybe in another life!
This Dallas girl is lovin' your vintage Coach bag collection!! You're enthusiastic drop of some 'y'all and Shit" are authentic and keep it fun. Look forward to more vlogs and seeing your channel grow!
"I love a good kislux because it helps me decide if I want to buy the real thing or NOT." That part right there. That's IT. I feel like people stigmatize dupes but for me, I pause on large purchases that are trendy or when I feel the overconsumption mania setting in FOR ME. (It's something I struggle with LOL! I'm easily convinced to buy things I don't wear or use. They'll literally have the tags and I'll even forget I bought something and have 2 or 3 of them in my closet.) Love this video!
lovely bags. If onlyI I knew years ago that these would become valuable items. For years in the 70's 80's I just gave my designer bags away to .charity shops. Lv's, Gucci's.Fendi, Mulberry, Aspenals, Dooney & Burkes and of course Coach which I use to pic up on my visits to America. Here in the Uk Coach, Dooney & Burke were not popular, so I would purchase3 or 4 at a time from Macy. Always had a soft spot for Coach but I find the quality like everything else is not as good as before. Not as much calf skin anymore.
I have a few vintage Coach purses as well. I appreciate your passion and knowledge on the subject. I wanted to let you know that what you are calling a rivet is actually called a grommet.
First time watching one of your videos and its was great! I totally adore vintage Coach. You have a great collection and totally love the green bags! I have now subscribed to your channel!
First time viewer. I am very worried about buying secondhand designer items because you can never be sure about them being authentic. You have acquired quite a collection of handbags. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the new year.
Great collection and yes bringing these beauties back to life is as much or even more fun than styling them ; and it takes you back to another decade!! What could be better!! Enjoy your collection ❤️❤️!
I'm so in love with investing in things that still have life to give. It's really been helping me on my more sustainable friendly journey and is very in line with my style and ethics so it's a win win!
Golly I am coming to America, when I have saved money to get there and just go thrifting., I am dying with envy looking at your collection, Coach collection wow
When I first "got into" luxury handbags, I purposely bought a kislux . I wasn't trying to show off, brag, or pass it off as genuine, I just wanted to see if it fit my requirements and how it would sit with me before I spent money on the real thing (without the SA staring at you). Turns out, it didn't fit me. I saved a ton of money and time on returns. It made me very happy. It fit me perfectly.
@@nancemb1 Such a fantastic classic! I came across one while thrifting but I had to leave it there because of the price. 😬 I love thrifting but sometimes it’s crazy expensive.
That stuff is sooooo good! I've got a few Dooney bags and I'd love to have more! There are a wide variety to be found on a lot of secondhand markets like Mercari and Poshmark.
Really enjoyed your deep dive into vintage Coach handbags! Your passion for fashion, thrifting, and sustainability shines through. It's fascinating how you've curated such a diverse collection, especially appreciating the glove-tanned leather pieces. Your perspective on the evolution of Coach's designs over the decades, and how you've integrated them into your personal style, is very insightful. Love the way you describe each piece - it's clear you have a keen eye for quality and craftsmanship. Looking forward to more content around sustainable fashion choices and reviews on your other luxury bags. Keep up the great work! 🌟👜🌿
I love seeing appreciation for vintage Coach by younger people, GenX checking in. Every time I see someone carrying a vintage Coach I want to gush over their bag but I feel like it would be weird, haha! Very impressive collection, it's so true what you say about having your favorite colors, mine appear to be black and British tan, though one of these days I want to splurge on a red bag. I never thought to remove the straps for storage, I'm laughing at how silly I feel! My Dad of all people introduced me to the brand in the early 90s when he bought me the Carnival Crossbody which my MIL now uses. I have bought and sold various bags over the years but I had to downsize everything a few years ago and I kept my 4 favorite bags, 2 of which were gifts from my Dad plus the braided leather key fob which I have never stopped using since he gave it to me in the 90s. I have yet to see anyone else carrying the key ring but I will give them the secret handshake if that ever happens!
I get what you mean about the monogram patterns. I don’t normally like it but I love Michael Kors’ MK. I meannnnn, my initials are also MK soooo im biased I suppose 😅❤
Hello this is my first time on you’re channel,I like your hand bags, the Rebecca bags are wonderful, I have a few coach bags myself, and they are from the 1990,2000.
Depending on how often I use them I like using a conditioner every four to six months. It's good to give them a gentle clean then condition to keep the leather supple. I'll be doing a video where I show how I condition mine in the future.
I’m a new subscriber. I’m also a big fan of Coach vintage. I have a pretty good collection but am retired now and just don’t have a reason to use them. I would love to pass them on to someone who can appreciate them. I would love to sell them and don’t want to consign- just pass them on with love. Not looking to sell at inflated price either. Let me know if you are interested. I can make a few pics. Thanks in advance.
Having money doesn't mean you can spend it recklessly and most people, no matter how rich, don't want to waste money for no reason. The kislux is the best solution to save money and save face.

Vintage Coach leather is amazing 🤩 I love my bags! Now I want to go thrifting 🎉
Very nice collection of vintage Coach bags. Thanks for sharing! 😊😊

Kudos on a very informative, well, entertaining video! 😂
No seriously, love your collection of Coach bags and you got some chuckles out of me! ❤
Living for your vintage coach collection! Recently bought a vintage slim legacy to restore and I’m sooo excited!
Ohhhhhhhh, that's such a nice one! All of their vintage legacy bags really do it for me. 😍
So glad you enjoyed it!
I love Coach soho bags, I have a few plus the massive size one! & the wallets too,
@@nancemb1 Such a fantastic classic! I came across one while thrifting but I had to leave it there because of the price. 😬 I love thrifting but sometimes it’s crazy expensive.
Great collection! Your cat is adorable. Nothing like a vintage leather coach!!
Thank you so much! Truly some of my favorite bags to buy!
Love your vintage collection. They look so well taken care of
Thank you so much! I'll be doing videos about how I upkeep my bags soon!
I swear the happiness I feel when kislux uploads a video is beyond!!!!
Omg! You are fantastic ❤❤
I love vintage Coach! I want an authentic vintage Dooney bag

What a treat to see you showing your lovely bags! ❤
You’re super fun to watch. I subscribed

In so many ways I'm not a fan, but then when I am it's oftentimes pretty ostentatious. 😅 Love me some Michael Kors!
Your vintage Coach collection is awesome!
Love Coach bags, think I have about 15 which is a lot to me and Hi from the UK xx
Hullo! I honestly never thought I'd have this many. Lols.
Omg you are hysterical. Fun to watch.
I occasionally moisturize my Coach cowhide leather bags with brick or Cadillac leather lotion. They can dry out if not.
Love Coach bag but also love Mulberry bags especially the Alexa x
Why did I laugh so much? You’re hilarious!

Love ur vibe n ur bags. I too have a few sohos. Thanks for the video.
Thank you so much! The soho is so good!
I love your channel😊
I’ve always wanted a Gigi legacy tote. Still looking for one in decent condition
I agree with the leather bag preference
Love vintage Coach 💛
☺️☺️☺️
Look at you ,All svelte. You look wonderful 😊
Awwwwww, thanks so much! 🥰
Love vintage coach, do you like vintage willis bags
I've heard of them, but don't have any experience? Would you recommend looking into them?
Do you do anything to maintain the leather? I have a couple vintage coach bags myself and I’m starting to wonder if I should be conditioning them
Depending on how often I use them I like using a conditioner every four to six months. It's good to give them a gentle clean then condition to keep the leather supple. I'll be doing a video where I show how I condition mine in the future.
I have one Coach tote with too thin straps, that would be my only complaint
Yeah, they've got several tote designs with straps that are too thin for my liking. I enjoy a good broad and thick strap.

I envy your soho collection
What’s the first bag called?
@@ceebee1461 Unfortunately I don’t know the design name.
I only buy leather purse they last years if you keep then up and switching every six months vinyls and cloth and fabrics won't last a with me
I'm SUPER picky about buying anything that isn't leather because I really like something that can withstand a beating.

Hey 👋
Hullo!
Do u sell your handbag
Any bags that I am currently selling are on my Mercari at NinetiesLovechild.
I can’t believe they’ve never done a Bronx Bag or a Grand Concourse Bag. C’mon Coach!!! let’s not give the bags the same names!!!!
If I had $1,000, I would choose to spend $100 on a bag to store my $900 instead of spending $1,000 on an empty bag kislux
