      @@GrandTerr ''A few cities'' my guy, you know a lot of the area of the Netherlands is highly urbanised. This is why it's among the most densily populated countries. You can most of the times, spot the next city, not far in the distance, while being in a high-up location in a city. Also, how is weather nicer in Switzerland. Sir, are you trolling? Please stop, you're quite bad at it.

    01:55 the castle shown is in Cochem at the Mosel river, not the Rhine

    Whar this video does not mention : 10 km across the dutch-german border the Rhine stlps being called the Rhine and splita into 3 rivers : the Waal, The Nederrijn/Lek and the IJssel . And when the major water stream the Waal reaches Rotterdam and the sea it is called the Nieuwe maas !

    • @nico210
      @nico210 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      They removed the rhine name and even called it maas, which is the much smaller river of the delta. What an insult. 😅

    • @lws7394
      @lws7394 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@nico210 You obviously know nothing about the changing dynamics of a delta. After several floods in the 15th century the southern water tributaries became the major water course and the rivers IJssel and 'old Rhine' received less water. Before the nortern Hansa cities along the IJssel were important cities, after the ports in the Holland region gained importance. Just as Bruges was an important trade city, until the sea access lost depth , due to sand accretion ..

    **Taiwan's Geography Map**: Taiwan, an island nation in East Asia, features a diverse geography. Its map reveals a dramatic contrast between its rugged, mountainous interior-dominated by the Central Mountain Range-and the flat, fertile plains along its western coast. This geography has shaped Taiwan's development, with most cities and population centers located on the west side, while the eastern region remains less developed but rich in natural beauty.

    It is easy to see how a nation as small as the Netherlands became a major world power in the days of colonization and industrialization.
    All the goods heading up and down this economically essential river would have to be transferred between river barges and seafaring ships. A lot of wealth passed through that river delta. It still does today.

    The massive (by far the largest) amount of water for the River Nile originates from Ethiopia. Your map showing major rivers in the world shows the Nile starting only from Lake TANUK (Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya) not to say Lake Victoria. The map you showed is not only an awefully wrong illustration but also hugely misleading.
