As for filling up the water reservoirs, I have a 3 gallon watering can from Gardener's Supply. That could be used to determine if the reservoirs are filled. Just a thought.
Hi Jenny, Could putting the pot on a paver help? By putting the pot on a paver you could ensure it is level and also see the excess water run out and therefore know the pot is full.
Thanks, Jenny, for the info on the new aquapots. I have a traditional aqua pot which is working well for plants that like to be moist all the time. I'm a little hesitant to use an aquapot or aquapot insert for plants that like to dry out between waterings. Like geraniums or vinca or sedums, etc... When I randomly test the soil in my Aquapot with a moisture meter, it always registers wet, not just moist. So that seems to say to me that only plants that like to be in consistently moist soil will do well in an aqua pot? I am in zone 8A NC.
Interested to see how those pots perform. Agreed that the fit of the top is too loose just watching you struggle with it. Also, overflow on the bottom would be a no-go for me. I’d want those pots on a patio so they’d need pot feet. We’ll see! 🐓 looking happy! 👏
Love the plant choices. Can’t wait to see how the bubblegum plays with the other plants, if it will take over or leave them some room. Can’t help but watch the girls❤ I would love to be able to keep chickens.
The supertunia vista bubblegum is the spiller, filler and thriller all in one. I really like them, I talk about them so much my sister-in-law bought some this year, she really likes them!
I love them so much too! So easy to care for and so rewarding. I’ve had people knock on my door to ask about my pots. This year I added the vista jazz berry to the mix and it is as vigorous and beautiful as the bubble gum
The coop garden looks amazing! That aquapot lite fits in perfectly with the coop aesthetic. Love the plant choices. Can’t wait to see how it all performs. ❤
Thanks so much for such a great explanation on how to place the aquapot in the round pot and how to put the dirt around it! Not even PW’s video explains it well. I’m so excited to use mine!
I heard that. I used to roll/carry a couple treasured ceramic pots to my shed. The last couple years, I just scooch them inside my house off the deck. Yes, it looks weird because that's my dining room. It's just me so I don't mind.
Good morning, Jenny☕️ I am So excited for these pots! I love the basket weave design😍 Side note, I cannot believe the size of your chickens 🐓 already 😳👏🏻👏🏻 Have a Blessed Day 😊
The area around your chicken coop is gorgeous Jenny. Can't wait for an update on your aqua pots and see more of the plants designs you're adding. Hope you and Jerry have a wonderful weekend. Dallas is doing great. Thank you again for all that you share and do with us. 🪴🤗🪴💓💕💞
Gotta say, at the beginning I was just there for the chickens and looking over the coop gardens. Love your girls, Jenny. I did get into your shade planter though.
The host a should be fine in the pot. I had some in a pot that I didn't get planted over winter. We dropped below 0° this past winter and the little ones survived.
Great video! The 'girls' distracted me a bit 😂 they are so curious, love them. I love the look of the Auqa pots. Excellent choice of plants ♡ The ceramic one, made me think of an indoor possibility, for indoor plants. I forget to water my house plants sometimes, especially in winter, would these pots be a solution for that? ... and for when going on holiday?
Aquapot company needs to design one that can be used in hanging baskets. With the heat this year my coconut lined hanging baskets have been a problem. I've used your suggestion. Jenny, and will dunk the baskets in a bucket of water for a few hours every other day, and it's saved my plants. But it's a heavy job to take down and hang back up. If there were an aquapot feature I could just fill, it would make life easier.
We need a solid day of steady rain in Windsor SC. It rains all around us and we get 5 minutes if we are lucky. Send some over our way, please.👩🌾👩🌾👩🌾
Square pots, I find, are more challenging to design. Hence, I have very few. Gosh, if you have any tips on motivating a gardener when it's soupy hot, please share. The other day, I planned to plant a couple new perennial purchases. It took me so long to plant just one because I had to dig out some weeds and amend my sandy soil. I stopped. Then went for a long drive to cool off (my house is not air conditioned). I have avoided working outside since. Yesterday was a two cool bath day. TMI, I soak for hours, have a quart Mason jar of ice water and watch TH-cam videos on my phone. 😊 I've been hearing crickets so they usually signal fall isn't far away.
Just came to mind watching you, what if you fill the aquapot with water first, then soil, and then water the plants as normal. Just a thought! Awesome plant combinations, as always! 🙋🏻♀️👏🏻🌿
Totally off subject, but will the chickens need some sort of wind break or protection from cold? Those plants in front are all annuals, so they'll be gone.
I have original aquapots and this year we had so much rain the pot got clogged and filled with water..we had to throw out the plants and soil.....do you have any solution to this problem
Use the adapter since that is the way is supposed to be used. Without the adapter you will use more soil and it possibly could get into the reservoir and clog up the whole works.
@@debmarlowe1204I agree, I think it would be the same as when Jenny potted the ceramic pot. Just fill in the dead space with soil. I was thinking you could do that with extra tall pots as well. Fill the bottom with some soil, then place the insert on top of it. As long as it wasn’t super tall!
I don't have AquaPots, but for my self watering containers I use a wooden dowel in the pipe to let me know when the water gets low/high.
Super smart, thx!!
Great idea
Great idea thanks for sharing
Do you have any mosquito issues?

Good morning Jenny its awesome that they are making the lights for aquapots

Good morning GWC family ✨🤍🪴
Good morning!
We’ve been really pleased with aquapot lite so far. Superbells always struggle for us but the ones in the new aquapots are really thriving!!
I am having a hard time concentrating on the pots as I am watching the chickens!

Have to say the coup and chickens stole the show so cute!!!!!

Thank you so much Jenny for your review on these! Can’t wait to see your review in them! Great video! Happy Gardening! ❤️❤️
Good Morning Jenny. I'm so looking forward to trying the aquapots lights. As I get older, the ceramic just seems to get heavier and heavier.
I heard that.

Thanks for always showing us the latest tech! 😀
The chicken coop plants are looking great! Cant believe how big the girls are already ❤
I know!! We got our first egg today 🙌🏻

Thank you for the honest product review

The gardens by chicken coop are lovely
Love videos like this. Thanks!
Glad you like them!
Great overview on Aqua Pots and how to fill Ceramic Pot . Where did you get those beautiful outdoor blue chairs/round table set?
I feel your pain with the heat in Panama city fl. Love your garden. I can't wait til I can order from you all. Blessings
I love the organize garden
Thank you Jenny enjoyed the demo on Aqua Pot Lite I’m looking at purchasing answered a lot of questions.
Same with me! Can’t wait for her review on them after some time have passed! Happy Gardening! 😊
Those plants have really grown they are beautiful! I liked seeing the pretty chickens also the lite white aqua pots were very pretty!
Love how the chickens watched you the entire time 🐔🐔🐔🐔🪴
I just bought a 4 pack of the aquapot self-watering inserts online. So excited to see how they work in my pots.
Good morning! Can you tell me where you ordered your inserts from?? I can’t find them! Thank you!!
I ordered the 4 pack as well and they are working nicely so far.
@@sharoncourtney7979I found them on the Aquapot website. They are $45 a piece.
Agreed I looked a few weeks ago what site did you find them?
Lovin tht hasta. Both containers are beautiful. Uv been wondering about self watering.

The chickens were very interested in the aquapots! 🐔 🐥 😅
I think those chickens believe there was food for them in that soil bag😂!

Gardeners supply has self watering devices you can use in any pot. I've been using them for over a decade. Pricey, but they work.
@@marygriggs2138 thank you for your advice. I'll look into it.
Jenny, what brand is your watering wand. Great info on the AquaPots...love Jack!
It is a Hoselink
@@GardeningwithCreekside thank you for letting me know Jenny!
How often do you have to fill the tube. Daily or a longer time?
Somewhere around 1x a week
Jenny, how about filling the water area before you add soil. Then you’d know that it was full. Just a thought.
Looks beautiful. 👍
Thank you Jenny another great video info 🌺🌺

Aqua pots are very nice but I would love to see lite weight urns that are Aqua pots, please pass this on to the designers.👍❤️
Wow!!! Tht side of the girl's house is beautiful. Yup they climb n fly. Thts how people lose thm cause they dont hv an enclosurem
Please try geranium and sedums. Thx
Could you refill that reservoir before adding soil ?
Hi. How cute to see the Girls today.
Does the water come up the tube? I think that would let you know if it's full if it does.
What about mosquitoes going down the tube and spawning larvae?
We’ve never had that issue in the 4 years we’ve used AquaPots
Thanks Jenny
Are aqua pots still on sale?
Totally off subject, but will the chickens need some sort of wind break or protection from cold? Those plants in front are all annuals, so they'll be gone.
No, we don’t get cold enough in the winter for that. I will close the windows of their coop so it won’t be drafty in there.
Can you help me find these self watering liners?? Can’t seem to find them!
I am in 7A and my dahlias did not make it through the winter in a pot. To cold for them.
I have original aquapots and this year we had so much rain the pot got clogged and filled with water..we had to throw out the plants and soil.....do you have any solution to this problem
We welcome fall Florida zone 8b.
Good morning.
Beautiful Jenny 🥰🥰
Not sure if you havethis feature, the flower blue part will pop up just a little to let you know the pot is filled with water.
Nice pots but I really enjoyed the chickens.
Is tht Jerry finally taking a break?
Hi 👋 Jenny
My garden is more than pretty flowers, please check but your plants are realy amazing :)))
Couldn’t you just put the insert into a square pot and not use the square adapter? Just let soul fall into that dead space?
Soil not soul. That would be a dire investment. 🙃
😂😂😂😂
Use the adapter since that is the way is supposed to be used. Without the adapter you will use more soil and it possibly could get into the reservoir and clog up the whole works.

Never comment before but this was confusing why bring in a different pot to confuse people
Actually , she’s giving people more options 😬
