Also, The Best Moments from the 2024 Delaware Classic were David Krol's 1st Telecast and the Fantastic finish in the Semi Final Match against Bill O'Neill. Also, Keep up the good work on the Highlights from the events on the Pba Tour especially the events for the 2025 Season. Also, I am looking forward to the Stepladder Finals of the 2025 Delaware Classic Next week.

O'Neil is like a machine when he gets started striking.

I bowled in 2 scratch leagues for 12 years on PBA sport patterns. If you set aside the advantages of having a high rev rate, the PBA patterns were originally designed to fairly reward precise and consistent bowling. The quality of bowling one would expect of professional bowlers. Each of the original named patterns was played differently. However, they all had one thing in common. Small errors in your delivery typically left you with very bad results. Washouts, splits, and multi-pin spare shots. Big shot errors actually had better outcomes. So I have to assume David Kroll was really throwing some bad balls on those brooklyns to get the good luck that he had. And yes I agree, you have to catch some lucky breaks to have success in these tournaments. But then you have what we saw here......

I have bowled my whole life, so I know that perfect shots sometimes leave ring 10's or stone 9',s, and brooklyn shots sometimes strike. That is especially true among weekend league bowlers. But, when I watch the PBA pros, my expectation goes way up and I always hope that the bowler who bowls best wins. This Delaware Classic, where Krol kept getting break after break, meaning he kept throwing bad shots and still got strikes, is an example of what I don't want to see, at least not at this level. To win PBA titles, you should not only hit the pocket but hit it with speed, rev rate, and drive. To see guys who do that keep getting taps, while Krol threw awful shots and got brooklyn strikes, well, he's just totally undeserving IMHO.

지랄 방구석 여포 나왔네 파이널 5에 들어가기까지 치른 예선은 하느님이 쳐주냐? 그럼 크롤보다 더 잘치던가

That is a fair opinion but at the end of the day bowling is bowling, beautiful or ugly strikes are strikes and the winner is the man who knocked the most pins. Bowling is one of the sports that factors in luck the most and thats something we have to accept. Cant allow yourself to be upset if you didnt bowl a perfect game in my opinion, always room to grow

Yeah but at the end of the day, your comment doesn’t mean anything as you are just watching because like Pete Weber said “that’s all you could do” lol

Get over yourself a strike is a strike. It’s called the luck of the game. The total score at the end of the game is all that matters.

He had to bowl great to get there. When it's your day on TV it's your day

I can't figure out why in today's game, long oil patterns lead to such insane hook that the bowlers have to loft the ball 15 feet. That's what we old-timers had to do back in the 1990's when the lanes hadn't been oiled for three days and were dry as a desert. There's 44 feet of oil on this pattern and based on how they're attacking the lane, you'd think there wasn't any.

You can't figure out that the balls these days hook way more with modern materials along with their high rev rates? lmao. I don't even bowl

    • @tarlkudrick1174

@@TRISHYXX It's not just that. It's that long oil seems to hook more than short oil. I see people play short oil patterns by going down the right side of the lane and hooking less, which doesn't make sense to me. Back when I bowled, the longer the oil pattern, the less hook you had. Nowadays the opposite seems to be true. Maybe it's long oil, but low volume?

The equipment is being designed to hook more as well. The AI core Storm is using, just hooks more, so they have to play it more inside.

I'm not a hater of 2 handers or the modern game or anything, but honestly the final match makes this sport look like a joke. One of the strangest PBA telecasts ever for sure!

Hahaha. Says someone who probably couldn't even hit the 3-6 pocket if they had to bowl on a tour condition. Also, Kayhko threw some really bad shots and pain dries faster than he bowls.
