I honestly felt this with my septum piercing. I always get allergies, so I was really doubting if I should get it or not but I ended up getting it and a week later I got my allergies and it was SOOOOO annoying to not hurt my fresh piercing while blowing my nose. The retainer fell out and I managed to put it back in, with a little pain lol. To this day it's my favorite piercing and doesn't bother me that much.

My nose piercing sucked to heal because the person at the shop who pierced me straight up told me she was training and once I gave her the go ahead, she failed to commit and she didn’t push the needle hard enough to get it through my nose. It took her 3 tries and so the swelling was crazy for the first 2-3 days. Looks and feels pretty good now though :)

I have never understood the women going to get their nose pierced and have the full face of makeup, having seen some in your videos. You want to look cute but the super obvious circle where the piercer has to wipe all the makeup off your nose leaving a crisp line between full makeup and no makeup is not going to be cute.
I'd assume they may have been doing things before their piercing?? So the makeup might have been for a girl's day out or for a date or something, piercing just happened to be afterwards.

My piercing was doing this thing where it kept getting keloids every now and then(my piercing was cleaned twice a day and I used saltwater to clean it.) After about 3 months, they weren't as frequent. And now, it's healed and I have no problem with it.
When I had my nose pierced the first time it was with a gun back in 2013 I had a bump on it so I gave up and took it off now I’m considering getting it again and take care of it more.
If y’all are planning to get a nose piercing, I highly suggest to do a lot of research first before getting one! It’s a lot of work and and requires a lot of care. Plus a lot of piercers don’t tell you everything to and the #1 thing you should always ask your piercer is, what size stud/ring are they using so you’ll know what size to buy later. I watched a few you tube videos where people are saying It really takes 6-8 months to a year for It to completely heal. My question Is what amount of time Is considered safe to remove the original stud and put In something else? Also my stud Is 18g but I noticed people are going 20 or 22g because It's easier to put In and doesn't leave a large hole. What Info or suggestions do you guys have on that? Thank You. 💜

I just got my nose pierced and my piercing started sinking right away. By the time I got outside and looked in the mirror, I could see it sinking already. I went back in and I told the piercer that it looked like it was down in my skin on a certain side and she said it was fine. Well I was back in her chair 2 days later and she told me that I needed a longer stud to accommodate for the swelling. Well imagine the pain of her trying to take the piercing out. My nose piercing didn’t even hurt but taking it out on the 3rd day was bad. My problem now is that the stud is still sinking and I think it has something to do with having an L- shaped stud. I have a very thick nose and I probably would have done better with a straight stud and bigger jewelry. The small jewelry on top is under the skin now with a little hole that I can still push it back up a bit. The first experience has been the worst but it has taught me how to advocate for my nose piercing. Every nose is not the same. If you are thinking about a nose piercing make sure you know your own 👃I will never go back to this place even though the girl says she has experience, she doesn’t have the experience in a thick nose like mine. I think mine will have to come out unless we can figure out how to stop the sinking and maybe I need a larger piece of jewelry on top. I’ll take suggestions if anyone has suffered this and ended up with having a nice healed piercing.

Had nose pierced 2 years ago but 1 month after it was done the stud fell out and the bar fell through and my nose piercing closed. 2 years later,fully healed, got it redone in the same place, was expecting pain since it was done in the exact same place as the old one, therefore scar tissue, here I am 1 month after I got it re done, healing nicely, went to check in with my piercer to make sure it won't fall out like the old one did, they were saying it was healing very, very, abnormally, quickly, most likely because of scar tissue from old piercing...heck ya 😎
Put a hoop in it may heal on a curve but mine was great I did a home job and put the hoop in straight away cause the stud fell outta mine when I got it done professionally

So it's normal for it too bleed and hurt I LITERALLY GOT MINE TODAY and it's been bleeding nonstop it's not bad bad it's just a lil pain

I got my nose pierced in July, got a “piercing bump” at the end of August and I woke up and the nose ring was laying on my pillow😭😭😭 how long should I wait to retry getting my nose pierced?

I got my nose pierced about 3 weeksish now and I started with a hoop....I know now that I shouldnt have started with that but it’s doing fine. I got a piercing bump but Im applying tea tree oil and it’s gone down and is almost completely gone! But should I switch to a stud? I’m scared about what could happen if I continue with this but like I said its been fine
Had nose pierced 2 years ago but 1 month after it was done the stud fell out and the bar fell through and my nose piercing closed. 2 years later,fully healed, got it redone in the same place, was expecting pain since it was done in the exact same place as the old one, therefore scar tissue, here I am 1 month after I got it re done, healing nicely, went to check in with my piercer to make sure it won't fall out like the old one did, they were saying it was healing very, very, abnormally, quickly, most likely because of scar tissue from old piercing...heck ya 😎
Put a hoop in it may heal on a curve but mine was great I did a home job and put the hoop in straight away cause the stud fell outta mine when I got it done professionally
