I'm completely losing my mind right now!! I had done this for decades. I got tired of listening to people bish about "how stupid" it is. I stopped several years ago cause I couldn't take the crap anymore. I'm not even two minutes into your video. I have missed this type of abstract rendering. Screw em! Everyone no longer lives near me. My youngest is now an adult. And you immediately reminded me of my forgotten joy!
If it brings you joy, it is not stupid, it is something worth doing.

My advice for anyone starting with zen-doodling:
If you are working on a section and you are feeling like it isn’t turning out right, push through, continue the pattern and fill the block. Quite often, as I am doing a pattern, I think to myself “this is ugly” or “I messed this up” but I finish it anyway. Usually, the next day I see it again and when I look at it objectively, I like how it turned out.
Love this but a big part of the pleasure (for me as a follower) is seeing the ink coming Out from the tip of the pen and making contact with the paper. But on some angles your (beautiful) nail hide the tip and I only see
The result of the drawing but not the drawing itself. Now I’m not expecting you would change your nails for me!!! Just thought I would express something I noticed. I love your videos and follow a lot of your tutorials. Thank you so much for them ❤

He he he....its your drawing so therefore you can exactly as you want to do 👍. It's only taken me 50 yrs to find this out and an other 10 to make myself do and enjoy! Before my work had to be perfect in my eyes. Gosh! what alot of hassle I gave my younger self 😊. Enjoy your self ❤

Quando facevo questo tipo di disegni alle medie - 50 anni fa - mi guardavano con sufficienza e mi aveva i convinta che non so disegnare. Mi sono divertita ancora a farne ma li ho sempre considerati scarabocchi. Ora la gente mi dice che sono belli. Meno male!
