Is it possible to cover Quebec in one of your near future videos. I'm aware there are differences from the rest of Canada and information is mostly in French. I want to emigrate to either Quebec City or Montreal from an English speaking country and have basic French with intent to get fluent within the next 2 years. Your content is concise and well compiled. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for providing timely updates and analysis. Are ietls results valid for 2 years from date of exam or 2 years from date of results for express entry in order to stay eligible in the pool? Kindly confirm.

The IRCC website states: "Your language test results must be valid (written in the last two years) when you submit your application for permanent residence." This sentence refers to the date the test was written, not the results date, for the two-year expiration window. From what I can gather living in Canada as an American retiree is near impossible. Your age and any health issues will probably bar you from gaining permanent residence in Canada. And trying to become a temporary resident of Canada has its own problems. Medicare for American seniors is not valid once you leave the USA. And if you're not granted permanent residence in Canada, you're not eligible for Canada's health care system. So the alternative is to purchase international travel insurance for your time in Canada. If anyone has looked into this (I have) the cost would make it prohibitive on retirement income.

What if you have a pension from America as well as lifetime health benefits you can use in the USA? And what if your American dad was with the Canadian Air Force in WW II? And what if you also have an allied health degree and license as well as several teaching credentials?

Our son is studying physics at university up in Vancouver, BC. We bought an RV and visit him often since it's only a 5 hour drive. He will probably seek employment in Canada after finishing his studies, hopefully gaining dual citizenship. As for us, we love Canada a little more with each visit and may also seek to emigrate to Canada once he's done with his studies. We're both professionals in engineering (electrical, environmental) with a fair amount of assets (almost $2 million in retirement accts and real estate) in case that matters. Just starting research on this, so your video is helpful!
