It's true! Before I ever knew anything about ASMR I'd watch her stuff to send me off to the land of nod...remember her in that show with Gabriel Burn? She was his therapist and she was so calm and relaxed
finally someone that includes all the asmr scenes in Edward Scissorhands. Usually most people will just put the make up scene. thank you for the dope content
I don't know that it is unintentional. I've realized one of the main reasons I enjoy good movies so much is the sound of everything. The music is like that too, and I think that's the reason they use strings so much. Plus, Ms Wiest had one of the most softest, soothing voices I have ever heard. I think her highly nurturing role brought that out here. She was that mom everyone wanted to be theirs. You KNEW he was safe when he went home with her.
Peg Boggs is adorable and such a sweetheart she took such good care of Edward to bad the outside world for him is evil and confusing so much for him to learn, but he has a kind soul
This was supposed to be relaxing but i couldnt help but laugh at 7:06 when Wiest is talking about the hardships and it cuts to Edward struggling to put on a shirt by himself 😂😂😂
It’s so crazy because I used to rewatch the makeup scene over and over because of the tingles it gave me. But back then I just thought I was weird 🥸 Also didn’t realize there are so many more ASMR scenes.
The makeup scene was my first ASMR experience when I was a kid, I didn’t understand it but used to re watch it over and over again, me and my sister used to reenact that scene over too, I could still recite it all 😂🥰
Everyone loves Edward because of Johnny, and I do too, but Diane Wiest is what makes this movie truly shine. I love her in everything I've ever seen her in ❤
To be honest, I DO believe this gave me tingles, but I don’t accurately remember since I was “tingle high” and in ASMR/ADHD bliss. ❤ “Your complexion is so fair”. Lol. My goodness what a precious ensemble of characters.
Yes! Also Poltergeist as well from 1982. I love the opening the camera following the dog Ebuzz through the house. The sound of his paws on the stairs and through the hallway. Also all the whispering the Freelings and Dr. Lesh. lol. I could listen to them whispering and go to sleep!
@@jasminesavard5974 yeah unfortunately today they depend on using advanced more sophisticated technology to make voices and sounds more clear and perfect at times it works but the equipment they had before seemed to be better
You know, those moments in Edward Scissorhands may have been my first ASMR experience, but I didn’t have a word for it at the time. (My fav movie btw) ✨
The make-up scene. I was just a kid and felt relaxed by this scene. I slept better to the sound of fans at night as well! This was before white noise was considered a calming effect all over online decades later! 😜
Dianne Wiest was made for ASMR. She has the perfect voice, mannerisms and gestures for ASMR.
Loved her as Lucy in The Lost Boys. That was the first film I ever saw her in.
Omg, so true!
It's true! Before I ever knew anything about ASMR I'd watch her stuff to send me off to the land of nod...remember her in that show with Gabriel Burn? She was his therapist and she was so calm and relaxed
Facts lol ❤
@@josebro352The scene when she talks to Michael on the porch is a favorite and I'm glad it's there.
Only Tim Burton’s weird ass could take the ridiculous idea of a guy with frickin scissors for hands and create such a wonderful movie
Indeed. I miss his movies. Want him and Johnny to make another one!
Yass one of my favorite movies
Yeah I heard he don’t fuck with black people tho so that kinda lame
finally someone that includes all the asmr scenes in Edward Scissorhands. Usually most people will just put the make up scene. thank you for the dope content
Thank you 🫡
Yeess 😁
Yeah, I know right.
i wanted to see her helping him get unstuck from his shirt tho.
she walked over to help and then it cut to something else
The scene where Dianne wiest first meets Johnny is so relaxing!
I'm in my 30s and still panic right along Edward on the water bed scene - seriously who thought water beds were a cool idea??
They were cool for kids and teens.
Now as an adult, all I see is a huge risk, an expensive cleaning job, and a bad nights sleep.
@@steverogers7601as a teen it's uncomfortable and ugly
Im in my 20's, I still want a waterbed
@@steverogers7601apparently the newer ones they come out with are a jelly based bed instead of water
My aunt and uncle had a water bed. It was so cool and weird lol

I never noticed how accurate asmrrequests voice was in her Edward scissorhands video! She did a great job!
YES !! It was perfect. I agree with you. She did so well.
Made in France ASMR did a fantastic one
Peg Boggs is adorable and such a sweetheart she took such good care of Edward to bad the outside world for him is evil and confusing so much for him to learn, but he has a kind soul
7:08 the switch from serious to that scene made me burst out laughing
🤣
My soul left my body when I followed your time stamp 😂😂😂
This was supposed to be relaxing but i couldnt help but laugh at 7:06 when Wiest is talking about the hardships and it cuts to Edward struggling to put on a shirt by himself 😂😂😂
😭😭same here I’m laughing
-and then it goes back to continue the scene again 😂
Her voice is sooo gentle and soothing 😍
My first ASMR as a kid. I NEVER understood why i liked the sounds/scene. I just thought I was weird 😂
Same 😂
@@alex4343abs Glad I’m not alone 😂I legit didn’t understand and thought I was weird for getting tingles n sleepy 💯😂
Same! And that scene with Deb doing the photoshoot in napoleon dynamite
Me too! Same with the old guy fixing Woody in toy story 2! Lol
Same
I just love that Tim and Johnny found each other. The chemistry between them is unmatched. Just like Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese.
That would mean the chemistry is matched, wouldn’t it? 😆 Just kidding, but still..
The makeup scene is sooo soothing. It was my first asmr experience.❤
The way some of these scenes are cut together had me GUFFAWING, 6:58 “I didn’t think through what could happen to him” cut to the next scene💀💀💀
Edward's life perfectly represents a person dealing with asperger's and some autism❤ Incredible movie
that scene is iconic 1:19
Dianne Wiest's voice alone is ASMR. Love her.
this was good but if the scenes were full and not cut and edited one after the other i would’ve liked it more!
Agreed
They probably had to edit it to avoid it being taken down for copyright reasons
I always thought her voice was super relaxing..😌
It’s so crazy because I used to rewatch the makeup scene over and over because of the tingles it gave me. But back then I just thought I was weird 🥸 Also didn’t realize there are so many more ASMR scenes.
THANK YOU!! YOU ARE THE FIRST PERSON TO ADD ALL SCENES!!!!
I'm something of a genius myself
you know i just realized how bonkers the premise of this movie is
The makeup scene was my first ASMR experience when I was a kid, I didn’t understand it but used to re watch it over and over again, me and my sister used to reenact that scene over too, I could still recite it all 😂🥰
3:03- Idk why but that made me bust out laughing😭
7:08- Bro! 💀 The cutoff.
Im sorry but edward is just so polite and adorable
Everyone loves Edward because of Johnny, and I do too, but Diane Wiest is what makes this movie truly shine. I love her in everything I've ever seen her in ❤
I thought this for the longest time. Her voice is so wonderful and relaxing.
Omg I used to rewind the part to put myself to sleep before asmr was a thing 😂
These were my first ASMR experiences!!!
That lady's voice is so sweet and soothing.
Johhny Depp will always melt me. His smile when he helps cut the thread 😭💕 also love this actress for ASMR, her tone and demeanor is perfect 🙏🏼✨️
I would've loved seeing the scene with Edward cutting hair included, but still awesome compilation.
I just love this movie!!!! So nice to hear all the ASMRs!!!
Yes
this movie had so much asmr. i remember watching it as a kid and my bother and i would be so calm and quiet watching it.
7:10 when you leave a toddler alone for not even a minute
She’s so sweet and comforting! ☺️
I literally always think of this as one of my first experiences of asmr. Her voice was so good!
It’s so funny cus I used to be obsessed with this movie and always loved how his leather suit sounded. 😊😂
I could listen to Pegs voice all day but mostly at night it has that perfect soothing caring tone
I always loved the sounds, even before I'd ever heard of ASMR. I love the brick sound on Harry Potter aswell (when hagrid opens the wall)
This movie will forever be one of the funniest pieces of art ever
I never understood why this movie gave me tingles when I was a kid… now as a grown ass adult I realise it was my first exposure to asmr.
To be honest, I DO believe this gave me tingles, but I don’t accurately remember since I was “tingle high” and in ASMR/ADHD bliss. ❤
“Your complexion is so fair”. Lol.

This movie was my first brush with ASMR!!!
This is such a good edit.
Yes!

This explains why I loved those scenes so much and didn’t realize it!!
She's so very sweet to Edward, it's very cute 😊
No not the waterbed scene omg thats so underrated i was actually looking forward to finding that ❤
I used to rewind the makeup application a lot as a child when I watched this movie lol didn’t know it was asmr at the time though 😂😊
Not including the haircut scenes is criminal
This is what I came looking for
I always thought the scene with Joyce showing off her future salón to him was unintentional ASMR too
I don't know if it's just me i only hear asmr when i watch old movies 😅
I've noticed that to some movies or shows don't stress on music in certain scenes plus the audio equipment for those times I'd say was a lot better
Yeah and i've notice that they used to use à voice in old movie trailers, they don't do that anymore

This is true unintentional ASMR, thank you!
I love the sounds of Edward's leather suit and Peg's voice 💜
This movie still makes me cry
I'm wonder if Johnny knows that this scene it's the most famous and best ASMR video on TH-cam!
Muchas gracias por agegar todas las escenas ❤😊
De nada ❤️

Probably why I love this movie so much
Weist is so motherly and very endearing. Perfect for the role! 😁
Should include the part where Joyce is showing him around the salon & when Edward is eating dinner
Ooo, i didnt realize this was one of the reasons why i rewatched this movie so much
Omg yes!!!!! I used to rewind that scene because I got tingles
Dianne, Wynonna & Johnny's voices/vocal characteristics/mouth noises...✨️magical & heavenly asmr✨️
I remember watching this movie one night and getting tingles in the facial scene and realizing asmr was my new thing!!
I like this Era. All of them was doing asmr without know it, Just because sounded good.
They forgot a huge part of the beginning I love it when she was walking through the house and finding Edward.
7:08
" i didnt think things through..."
**cuts back to silly moment**
XD
I love this movie
This just explained my obsession with this movie. Ever since I was a kid. Never clicked it with asmr. 😮😮
_The haircut scene made me so sleepy_ 😵💫🙂↔️
I would love a friend who would let me do all kinds of makeup stuff on their face like Edward Scissorhands let that woman do his makeup. 😂
6:56 the cutscene i am CRYING 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Omg I used to play the ‘blend and blend and blend’ bit over and over!!
He deserved an Oscar for this
Dianne Wiest could read the phonebook and it'd give me tingles.
I love the makeover asmr ❤
Those makeup sponges are throwback. I remember my mom always uses those.
No one but Johnny could pull this off!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
This movie gave me the worst second hand embarrassment, but I loved every minute of it ❤
Scissorhand embarrassment

my favorite type of asmr

The makeup scenes remind me of the videos from Whisper Soft; what asmr is would look like (or something like that) 😂
“Damn those TV programs”
He's such a good sport.
I thought I was the only one who got tingles from this movie😭💯..
I respect that your ASMR video starts with the most annoying scratch writing noise I've ever heard 😂
Dianne W has the perfect voice and tone for ASMR ❤
when I first watched this movie when I was way younger I always replayed the asmr part
OMG Dianne Wiest has such a relaxing voice
The make-up scene. I was just a kid and felt relaxed by this scene. I slept better to the sound of fans at night as well! This was before white noise was considered a calming effect all over online decades later! 😜
