yes, my desktop has a Ryzen 9 7950x & 64GB ram and a 2TB NVME, 4TB NVME AND 2X4TB 3.5 HDD in Raid 0, and my Laptop with a i9 13900K, 48Gb ram and 2x 4TB NVME, using the RME Fireface UCX 2
Laptop since last year I have a Lenovo legion 5 with identical specs that I of course paid $500 more fore 🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️, but it is powerful enough to run my project studio with ease. I found out about KD to late. I've heard Kagun on some pods seems like a genuine dude so I always tell musicians looking to upgrade to get a KD.

YES!!! Another KD Video! I swear there just aren't enough videos about them out there! I've owned computers from just about every company known to man, and this one is my current favorite by far!
I worked on desktops exclusively until 2020 when hurricane Laura completely wiped out my house and set me back to square 0. I lost 25 years of serious music gear collecting. I mean I lost literally everything. Since the hurricane I’ve been on laptops. I had to limp along on a 2017 hp omen laptop but I finally got myself a MacBook Air. The omen did the job but I was missing my horsepower. This MacBook Air has the horsepower but not enough ram. Gonna upgrade asap. I had found my monitors, one in my yard and one in the woods near my house. The never sounded the same. Just recently got a pair of kali in-8’s and they are blowing me away. My interfaces were still in its rack but the rack was destroyed with lots of my outboard gear. But the interfaces both survived. They even took on water and still work. They are 2 focusrite 18i20’s in case anyone is interested. I did take them apart and clean them with electronics cleaner before I fired them up again though. Hurricanes suck. But my wife and kids and I are back on our feet now. It’s been a few years but it still seems like it was just yesterday.
@@SonicDriveStudio it’s all good. I’m happy with where I am in life currently. If the hurricane hadn’t happened, who knows where I would be in life right now. Could be that things turned out horrible for me if the hurricane hadn’t happened. So I can’t complain too much. Yeah it sucks and it’s easy to cry about losing 20+ years of hard work and passion. But it’s true passion so there’s not much to worry about, it took hardly any time at all to get back up on my feet. I’d argue that I have much better gear now than I did before. Sure the gear I used to have I put miles on and built that owner bond with but at the end of the day, results is what matters. I can get far better results these days than ever before!
How awesome! Does your studio ever create drums and bass backing tracks for consumers? I am not very good at it and your backing tracks sound huge. If not, no worries. Love your channel!!
