    The students pais to the government thousands and thousands of dollars every 3-6 months... why would the government stop it!??

    There are 2.9 million temporary visa holders in Australia. The graduated foreign students do not leave the country, its commonwealth policies and laws and free trade agreements that created this problem.

      When my children were at University, the majority of overseas students received their graduation certificates and went back to their own country.

      The government trades as the 'Commonwealth of Australia' but that doesn't mean it IS the Commonwealth.
