I saw an interview where they asked ronnie "what genra of music would you class yourselves as" and ronnie said "yes"
First, I wanted to tell you that your understanding of the lyrics and of the deep meaning touched me. Your acceptance of different beliefs as well as your genuine concern for the author of the lyrics shows how an amazing person you are.
What I believe regarding the wolf transformation : it's a metaphor on what mental illness can turn you into : a beast destroying everything around him. The little girl touching his shoulder, turning him back into a human is just the gentle touch of compassion from close ones or yourself.

the little girl is also his Daughter shes actually in some of his videos and he talked about how she is the motivation and cure for him! he actually has a song thats about her called coming home i believe!

@@Richie_RHD How good are they! I followed Ronnie Radke (lead singer) since I went through the edgy teen phase early 2000's when he started a band called escape the fate. He was replaced once he went to prison and created FIR. You will find songs like raised by wolves are about Escape the fate because he was so pissed off

Although I will say I've heard many different pieces of rock, rap in this mix. This track Has a small flow in it that reminded me of Hollywood undead also bring me the horizon. Although the growl for "monster" would have been killer if Davey Havok of AFI [A Fire inside] had sung it, but that's neither here nor there. But I definitely think the band got its money worth in all the production for this video it's a great video

Yea that's his daughter willow he has been putting her in most of the new videos. She's his baby and his life. And his name is ronnie radke he was in escape the fate years ago and got kicked out for going to prison. Hes faced a lot of demons and willow is what helped him. I can relate to that. I was going down the wrong path fast. And when I had my son he got me back on track and made me a better man. But the past is what people remember for a long time. Which is what popular monster is about. Ronnie is well known and his past demons still give people a thought of who ronnie is even though hes changed.
First id like to say im happy you were able to turn your life around as many cant. But your son didnt make you change you make you change. He may have been the catalyst or the reason but you got the will power and respsonsibility to change. I just wish more people would realise its not over till its over. Ronnie is one of the most interesting people in music bar none. He is insanly talented, he did the directing of the video and writes his own lyrics. Im glad ronnie found help and feels alot better then he did and i hope your son and his daughter know they mean the world to the two of you.

I was expecting your music to be terrible since I usually don't listen or like that kind of music but i was pleasantly surprised that I really like it, you got talent!
Ronnie carries the weight of his messed up past n gets reminded by it by ppl n hate he's received or still gets sometimes.. there are wrong facts out there from Google n ppl obviously believe that. I have respect for him bcuz he's so godamn transparent he doesnt sugar coat anything abt his past. He's an open book. And he has changed for good n in music too! So this song he's talking abt this popular monster. The monster ppl look him as n tht loves to hate.. the depression part is inspired by joker movie that came out last year.
U should check out his solo rap songs like devil/destiny/never the same/blacklist/who will stop us.

The song and video has many meanings but the correlation to all the mass shootings by young teens shouldn't be missed. Almost every single one of them had a therapist and/or psychiatrist prior to them going on mass rampages. The therapists had said "it's just a phase" when obviously more than that. They are "popular monsters"

I feel like the line " every day I get closer to the grave" isn't necessarily about suicide but more about that life has a time limit and every day wasted on feeling it's all meaningless is another day wasted and he just doesn't want to waste his life feeling like that.

Alot of people attack him for being a "fake" Rockstar and a wannabe rapper and find his general outlook of life to be distasteful especially when he got out of prison for being sent in for his addiction to drugs and shortly after he lost his older brother in a car accident. In general he had a pretty shitty life (including being abandoned by his mom at birth) and nowadays his rock is his daughter willow who is the little girl in the video, he keeps going cause of how much he loves her which is a prevailing theme in his most recent music.

If you want to understand what the video is going on about you need to do it in order. Every other reactors are doing the same thing. They FIND falling in reverse from popular monster saying "i have to see more of this...i need more of this" then they dont read the comments and just pick drugs or losing my life or in wrong order. Google or youtube search about his prison time, kinda did a LOT of shaping of what he's become. Did most of his initial writing for this band when he was locked up and had been kicked out of the band he previously lead-man'd for.

While I know Ronnie isn't a Christian, AS a Christian myself, I still related to that line -- because all around me I feel like there are so many Christians who aren't christ-like and sometimes it can feel like you're drowning while trying to stay afloat while watching people around you so easily pray to a version of the God you believe in that seems warped (does that make sense??) I respect his right to his views though and of course, I still love his music. Been a Ronnie fan since ETF.
I feel like this video is about him asking for help, no one helped him and he had a breakdown and didn't something he regretted.
